Delisting and taking private are two different things. The company could delist - as you say - without buying out the minority shareholders. Of course they would then be effectively trapped, with no easy way to buy or sell shares. Not a pleasant prospect.
Since you seem to understand the situation better than most, can you explain
a) how RF can acquire 3 million shares at an effective price under 6p, when the shares are currently trading at 15-16p, and have at no time traded under 10p?
b) How often more can they do this?
c) If there anything that can be done to stop them?
