Fire FRR are responsible for the well-being of the company. If they are raising funds at an artificially low price then it is their duty to report it to the authorities and there is a very clear procedure on how they must do it. I know it's a bit like farting against thunder because the regulators are so inept but this just seems so blatant that I am going to keep bashing away.

A quick look suggests 5 x 2m trades and possibly 2 x5m trades from yesterday will be cancelled today. The 4m trade from Tuesday was cancelled yesterday as I predicted, in addition to the usual 2m cancellations. I have scrolled through the trading details of 10 other randomly chosen AIM shares and nowhere else did I find this pattern. Something stinks and I think us PIs need to keep the pressure on the FCA, the Nomad, WHI and FRR to investigate. I will be writing to them all.

I see a 4m trade this afternoon. It just happens to be 2x2m. I will be looking for a 4m cancelled trade tmrw.

Prod I received the same automated reply. You need to read all the way through to see the bit where it says they will look into your request.

I went through the entire FCA website and that seemed to be the correct address for us mere mortals to use. Perhaps Yellow Jersey can get FRR to report it as well. If a company reports a possible problem then the complaint seems to go to the front of the queue.

Commy your final statement sums up why these trades are suspicious. If the trade took place and was immediately reported why was the cancellation also not immediately reported? Some one is playing games imo.

Income as a minus is a loss. A very common situation in exploration companies where the expenditure usually exceeds the income until such time as the assets are proved and brought into full production. At that point previous expenditure can be offset against current income to give a nice tax free period for th company. FRR is just about at that point.

I still cannot work this out. Comm, as Mole says, there is a difference between a cancelled order and a cancelled trade. What we have seen are cancelled trades as there is no way I know of where a non-broker can see cancelled orders. Similarly unless you have direct system rights you cannot cancel an executed and reported trade. So these trades are being made and cancelled by a broker or market maker. I agree with the point that nothing has changed hands which means exactly that - nothing has moved except the share price which has gone down. I have asked the FCA to look at it.
