The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with London Stock Exchange Group's Chris Mayo has just been released. Listen here.
Apologies RR, I somehow missed ASTs 2nd RNS today. The re-rating makes more sense now.
RR that was the news that dropped AST last week. I cannot see what has caused today's rise, however as a shareholder I am pleased it is happening.
Hopefully we will recover as fast as AST seems to be doing at the moment.
Nice buy.
I just tested some big number sales and got firm prices - 10m (.2863) and 25m (.2800). So there is definitely good demand at these levels, all of which seems to support the accumulation theory
One of the tricks is to have a wide published spread, like today, and then move the real spread around within that range. Then sales can be booked to look like buys and vice versa to achieve the desired result.
I can get a firm price (.2838) for 10m shares. Maybe something is going to wake this up?
And another (almost)
Another 5m buy
As I said I'm an optimist, so I always expected (hoped for) good results. I am not disappointed, if you read everything that has been written by the company about UD-2 then you will see that patience is the name of the game.
Funnily enough I think the oil news is being held back for the opposite reasons. It is so good that they want to be 100% sure. But then I am a born optimist.
I think plugged and abandoned is exactly what will happen. The talk of a sidetrack is to soften the blow. However in the great scheme of things it will prove to be nothing more than a hiccup. The well proved the existence of a high-quality, commercially viable gas field. The next steps will be to bring that to market with new wells drilled and equipped with modern technology. Possibly in conjunction with a deep-pocketed partner. Imo. Gla
Cheesie you are right - patience is still required. However I think there is a lot going on at the moment. Zaza is gathering data from 3 wells which he will co-mingle to produce an RNS that exceeds all of our expectations.
The prefs have been redeemed. They were NOT converted so there are no ordinary shares to be traded as you state in your earlier post.
The last YA payment was made with cash from operations when the prefs were redeemed. The prefs were NOT converted to ordinary shares so there are no further consequences to be had from them. We shall wait to see what happens when the next ones are presented for redemption. I am betting on another cash payment.
Flakey please find a dictionary and look up the definition of ' to redeem'. Once you have read and understood it you might want to revisit your last post.
I like it- Zone 51, often referred to as AIM.
Great posts GeoDave. Please send your CV to FRR, I believe they are looking for someone who can write clear, concise RNSs. :)
ODR, I agree that the volume is nothing to shout about. The good thing is that there is a rise on small volume, it shows that there are very few shares available at these give-away prices. Unlike the last few weeks.
Something good is happening
