There is definitely an underlying pattern of a big number trade, 10m or 15m, which is never cancelled and then a number of smaller trades adding up to the larger trade which are invariably cancelled the next day. So it looks like accumulation by somebody with the authority to cancel trades. But that is such blatant manipulation it is impossible to believe that it is the answer.

I like your confidence but in my opinion no AIM stock is worthy of that much of a gamble. Unless of course you are only talking about your AIM eggs.

I wonder if these are the 10m that keep getting cancelled everyday? And why 10m shares which at current prices YA could purchase for £40g on the open market. I think YA have no sharesvas per their normal modus operandi and now want some to hold. I reckon that 10m × 10p will be a nice bonus for them. Great RNS well done Zaza.

Madpunter please explain the mechanics of a share swop involving cancelled trades because I cannot work out how it would work. I always get stuck at the bit where if something is cancelled then it didn't actually take place.

I really thought there was going to be 15m cancelled trades today. Previously there has been a matching large trade each day, usually 10m. Yesterday there was only one large trade of 15m which is why I thought the numbers might change. That aside what I think is happening is that one of the mms is underwriting a CFD of 10m which was taken at a strike price of about .55p. As is normal the underwriter will have bought the physical stock and has since walked the price down to increase his margin on the deal. Whether it is legal or ethical I don't know but it certainly smacks of manipulation.

Maybe it is but I'm not sure there is a seller. Just a market maker controlling the price for some reason. Maybe to underpin a CFD or similar. I am expecting to see 15m of cancelled trades today if I have understood the recent trading patterns.

I don't think it will be YA. FRR can just redeem the prefs at $400k per month. I think that is one reason for having brought in the investor as it releases revenue from oil sales to redeem the prefs. Jmo

I've been away on a 5 day hike - no cellphone or internet. An absolutely mind-clearing experience. Spent last night and this morning catching up on matters FRR and have a couple of observations. Firstly, thankyou and well done to everyone who is also trying to get to the bottom of the cancelled trades, it really would be nice to have an answer. The best news is that we now have a financier who is willing to take a direct risk on our assets. As I read Friday's RNS the investor only gets repaid out of production from the well, so if it's a duster he gets nothing and it costs us the same. He must be pretty sure of the expected results to take that risk. Other than that patience is still required. GLA

These are not trades. They are reported as sales to push the price down and then cancelled. Nothing changes hands. To me it is a deliberate attempt to hold the price down. For what reason we can only speculate.

I've sent so many messages to various authorities. No response. It needs everyone to keep up the barrage.

By my calcs they will also be able to redeem YA's outstanding prefs out of the revenue at $400k per month. All looking very good for the future.

We all need to put pressure on the FCA. It's not the company it's the effing market makers dragging us down at the moment.

The 4m sell is part of the ongoing manipulation. It will be cancelled tomorrow after the sp opens lower. Jmo

Fire I don't think that the trades have anything to do with the company. If the share price is being deliberately held down by a third party for whatever reason it directly affects the company's ability to raise funds resulting in unnecessary dilution. It's just the same as YA selling forward to ensure that they receive the maximum amount of shares.
