There were several posters floating around yesterday encouraging taking profits from ENET ( when around 2p) and putting in QBT, when around 3p.

That worked well!

I didn’t get locked out …I sold at 0.7 having bought around 0.2…so it’s all relative . But yes that was a bit hard to stomach but a few years ago .

1 to 3 p suits me fine. Maybe 2-4 next round . 🤫

It is clear to me that they can exercise at the current share price …just the shares will be allocated at the minimum exercise price, being $5…so 976,000 shares ( not 960k)

They will exercise IMHO.

Just take the opportunity to load up and wait .

The amount of shares vela get, according to CDT filings will be at a maximum of 960,000 being the minimum exercise price of $5 . The minimum allotment of shares would be 320,000 at an exercise price of $15.

At least vela will be starting at the bottom .

Just think if we had all bought £10k of ENET at 0.5p yesterday, or CSFS at 5.5p a few months back, or MODE at .0.6p similarly .

Biggest issue will be when CDT hits $30 a share in 18 months knowing we sold them at $2.50!

Mine is 2p but on a small amount. But Vela has 350k shares which were worth £1750 yesterday and 3x that currently.

General opinion is that this may recover to near the January placing price fairly quickly.

They've got plenty of time to exercise the option and may be in the process of doing so, or they may wait until the CDT price is higher as it looks better on paper. If they exercised in 3 months time when CDT is at $4.5 for example then it looks 3 times better than now and the still get the same number of shares . As someone pointed out yesterday if we exercise now they overall asset value of vela will reduce, although the SGSC investment is currently classed as a non current asset, so our 'live' asset value would increase by about £1.2million, and the sp is already below what it should be for everything else.

Swings and roundabouts...but CSFS has made a strong recovery in recent months and MODE may come out of suspension considerably higher when it was previously all but written off.

I would assume the CDT share price takes into account the fact that VELA will get just shy of a million shares at some point , so don't think exercising will have a detrimental affect...infact possible the reverse.

I can't see how the 10 day average is not now at $5 and I would expect any announcement to be made when morning RNS's are released for the US market as it will be price sensitive to CDT as well as VELA.

If that is 1 hour before opening like here, then expect an RNS around 1.30pm our time, today or tomorrow.

Jimmy : for vela to get the most shares the price has to be sub$5 for 10 days...but they could exercise at any time before or after that point....up to the close date which I think is 6 months.

And those 350,000 shares were only worth around £2.5/£3k before suspension .
