No news and little volume to justify this movement...MM knows something Positive is imminent IMO;

It will soon breach the SMA50, technicals look good.

This shows demand is strong, prices will remain high and the mine is strategically located to cover Brazil, Africa and India (biggest growth markets); big cost advantages too by being in central Africa and close to the sea so I am sure big trading houses will be ready to snap our production with offtake agreements;
I consider financing ready to be announced very soon after the EPC RNS is out (if not simultaneously); the Co issued 3 RNSs within a week, during the Xmas period, basically telling us that they are gearing up for a busy H1 2023.

Therefore, it's not far fetched to expect KP's production ending up in India in future; IMO

"LT and the very small crowd" is aware that other rivals (huge companies) share prices have dropped too - Nutrien down by 35%, K+S down by 50% this year, even Tesla (a much loved stock) is down by 70%; I guess their SP's are priced by MMs, yes??
Interest rates have globally risen, money supply turned negative and cheap money has ended. If anyone thinks all these would have zero impact on a small cap, with zero income, facing political and other risks in Africa, well, what can we say?
Global pop now at 8 bln, security of fertiliser's supply now paramount; these are facts or "pumping out"?
Jan. 2023 will be a great month for KP2, IMO.

Some advice for 2023; stop responding to ALB, this is my NY resolution; whatever you say, he will not change his ways;
The money spent is in the Co's Audited Financial Statements, any novice can check;
As for ALB's "entry price" this keeps changing depending on where the wind blows;
Rock, we know the Co potential, ALB's scaremongering will not affect these one iota; as soon as the EPC RNS is issued, the SP will jump and keep on rising;
EPC is being prepared for some months now, following lots of weeks on the optimisation study; CO assured the RoC Minister last week that things are going ahead soon; recruitment for construction will start soon too, so either this is a huge charade as ALB claims, or...things are happening for real and we will have confirmation soon - take your pick.

That's the whole point; Summit will construct the mine based on the EPC (being finalised soon IMO) as per the optimisation study; KP2 (now with a dozen employees or so) will supervise the project; it is hence implied - IMO - that both the EPC and financing are almost done and the RNS will follow soon, I assume in January; for recruiting to occur in H1 it means they need to have both the agreement and the funds in place; but if the EPC is not certain, why rush to announce anything about recruiting?

With Kore Potash in the process of finalising the Engineering, Procurement and Construction ("EPC") contract for the Kola potash project ("Kola") the Company has commenced reviewing management requirements for the construction phase of Kola...The Company intends to commence recruitment for the construction phase of Kola during the first half of 2023."

 

ALB, Strange logic!
At 0.70p you worry about lack of information, possible dilution and expensive salaries but at 0.35p you WON'T??
Also, a few weeks back when the SP was 1p you said you'd invest at 0.60, now you may invest at 0.35 despite the Co saying, for the first time EVER (2 days after meeting the Minister), that mine construction starts during H1 23.
I know you like taking the mickey but this tops everything.

Co said "construction to start during H1 2023", my money is on them delivering. I have no reason to doubt them, you see what's happened in China in the past few weeks with Zero-Covid and now with the opening up; totally beyond KP's control.

40 months of construction, 1.83 Bln$, yes we know that - and we know that KP2 will not spend a penny more on this as the Consortium and Offtake partners will finance the mine;
And it all starts in a few months;

No worries for us, let non-holders hope to buy in at a lower price; the Board has all but announced that construction is starting in a few months, all we need now is the RNS to confirm it in the next few days/weeks; the main worry was either a license revocation (NOT happening) or a continued delay (NOT happening); risk has dropped substantially.
The market will do the talking soon and scare mongers will disappear for ever.

Yes, EPC RNS should be a formality soon, and RNS financing soon after; todays' RNS will put a lot of worries to bed.

Looks like 2023 will be a great year for KP2 holders. GLA, and a Happy New Year indeed!

Litigation/arbitration will just delay the project a lot more than the RoC waiting a few more weeks for EPC/Financing completion;
A new licensee will also have to do some due diligence on the project etc, so further delays (assuming they wish to be involved with litigation ongoing).
RoC is not happy with the delay but they know that they are stuck with KP2, hence the October letter and the tree shaking with "leaks" in the press about arbitration etc. IMO

Not everything is bad, contrary to what ALB keeps saying; It's been 2 months since the RNS about the EPC, the Co would have to issue an RNS saying that talks have collapsed, if no progress soon;
Instead it has just issued 2 RNSs, where it talks about "progress in financing and construction commencing" - it seems that the RoC minister's Letter has knocked heads together - IMO
