It's a great idea but they only have 2D seismic and it isn't the largest part of the new fairway.

Any change in ownership has to be agreed by FIG. They could withdraw the licences soon if they wished - but hopefully they won't.

I think FIG just want this to get going because the earned tax/royalty will give them a big sovereign wealth fund for the future.

I saw the proposed Navitas deal as a way of reducing the financial burden of FID - which Premier couldn't really afford. There is no immediate upfront significant cost for Chrysaor in going ahead or not with the Navitas deal is there. In the recent Premier RNS they said:

"The proposed farm-out of the Sea Lion licences to Navitas is subject to FIG and, pursuant to the Merger Agreement, Chrysaor's approval."

I would be surprised if Chrysaor approved the deal. Instead they could keep it as-was with 60%:40% or I think more likely negotiate with Rockhopper and keep the 70%:30% deal as proposed. Finally they could make an offer for Rockhopper and take 100% if they thought this was a valuable asset . Sea Lion would then be over 50% of their 2C resources with FEED paid for - so it can't sensibly be ignored unless oil is sub $45 for ever.

Yes, if it is cheap today - it is really just saying that the Newco is overvalued today.

The Rockhopper BOD need to make some good contacts with Chrysaor now. A good working relationship will mean Chrysaor won't see us as an adversary.

Wow - it isn't important but I think I bought them in the 6ps last week (I hadn't been in Amigo at all but liked it) and sold in the 7's. But I was in and out and ended ahead about £3k I think.
I could have been £20k ahead today but shares and hindsight never work like that.

Who cares if I lost or won ? (I made £3k overall if you want to know and yes I would have made much more if I sold today).

But, I have to say that this isn't just a board discussing a company is it - it is becoming a religion that decries naysayers!

I have been in and out of this several times actually. I had 1 million of them last week but I did some research and didn't like it as much so have sold. Am still interested.

But seriously, there are too many self congratulations going on here. It is far from risk free so we need some negativity on here to balance off.

I like this company by the way. They have a great product, good management and some cash now to expand into 2021.
