The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
Skoda driver - There has not been a placing? I take it you are just being pedantic and not just a total idiot? If it's the former perhaps you should read the RNS dated 6th October... "The first Placing of £100,000 Loan Notes has occurred today and 190,476 Warrants have been issued, exercisable at 5.25 pence over the next five years". Shead's words not mine. If you are getting at the fact they're convertible loan notes then what happens to these? Oh yes they're placed on to the market. If you didn't know about the Darwin agreement then praise the Lord! Laughable? Really? I take it you haven't invested much in AIM? It's actually a regular occurrence and if you think otherwise then I suggest your naivety is not suited to this market. Timescales should NOT be taken with a pinch of salt. RS has a duty and legal obligation to only release factual information to shareholders. To do it once (end 2014) is forgivable or an oversight but twice is a little more than coincidence. If he doesn't know he shouldn't say anything. If he does then he should notify the market and if that doesn't materialise then he has a duty to explain his actions.
It was on the 6th of October when the RNS for new funding was released. I called him and asked basically whether the term 'very near future' was used to pump the price in order to get the placing away. Of course that was met with anger by Shead and he threatened me with lawyers in a subtle way. I then asked for his definition of what is meant by 'very near future' and he said, could be 2 weeks, could be a month or even 2 months' were his exact words. As this was in relation to the half year report on the last day of September then this would take us upto the last day of November, or Monday. He did come across as genuine at the time and I honestly believed him. However, that time is fast approaching....
Why Vlad because one person said I shouldn't be saying things like that on here? And that one person is the voice of the entire board? There are lots of people I know invested here who believe he has done just that. I spoke to RS and in his own words he said up to 2 months so I will reserve my own judgement thanks buddy.
HH - this happens a lot on OXS. It'll probably be back at 4p later...
A complete ****take. The whole process needs bringing into the 21st Century.
And then til end of Jan, and then Q1 2016? Where does it end? Very near future by Shead's own definition is anything up to 2 months given the circumstances. I think if nothing comes then he needs to let shareholders know why?
If nothing by the end of this week then RS has misled people IMO. Do the arbitrators really think this is justice? Making a company almost bankrupt waiting for justice to be served.... through no fault of their own? The whole process is a joke. All the technical reports in the World wouldn't take this long. They are obviously A. Taking on far too many cases to be able to cope or B. Dragging it out for as long as possible for personal gain. Either way it isn't justice. Oops.... I wonder if Miss Stern reads these boards? Lol
Noticeable volume... I think we are getting closer fellow oxers!
Thanks Petty - that makes me more confident whilst losing the will to live here. Surely if Shead himself confirmed that he used those words for a reason; and that the verdict was imminent, then we won't still be here at Xmas. From the Collins dictionary - Imminent: adjective Liable to happen soon; impending How soon is soon? Very near future was over 7 weeks ago... Perhaps as in the case of Rurelec, the board have been given a notice by the tribunal to expect the verdict within 6 weeks? We are now over that period but Rurelec was also over the time they were given. Interesting times... I'm still betting on a November verdict. 6 working days and counting. .. tick. ..tock. ..
To be fair we had one yesterday and today we had an RNS. Another two today so perhaps an after hours or Monday RNS? I freaking hope so!!!
Arrrghhh why is it never THE ONE!
Not to be ignored...
Investor6 - It depends on what the company and our NOMAD decide on. There may or may not be a suspension. If there is a suspension I would expect it to be temporary and when re-listed the SP will jump to somewhere close to the award minus a discount of say 20-30%. You then have a choice to either sell up or wait until the award is paid out for the full amount. There are a lot of variables but I imagine the company will make it clear in the relevant RNS.
Ha ha well done Petty. I did try to warn others that they do keep a check on these boards. I've not spoken to Wilkins before but at least it sounds like he has a sense of humour considering the predicament. So all in all nothing new really... back to plucking chickens.
Actually Iceberg you're wrong....again... I spoke to Shead and his exact definition was up to 2 months so that takes us up to the end of November. That is exactly in line with everyone's definition.
We are coming to crunch time now. If we don't hear anything by the end of November then that statement on the half year report was misleading IMO. Nothing by Christmas and it was outright deceitful and used for an agenda. My patience here is wearing thin. If you have no idea of time lines then you shouldn't give any, full stop.
Get a verdict before the next millenium?
