If you would like to ask our webinar guest speakers from WS Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund a question please submit them here.
Low risk high reward? I would imagine these will drop 70% or so as a minimum upon relisting. What's the point in selling at such a massive loss? If successful the shares could still be worth many more times than the last closing SP. I'll be in it til the end, do or die.
I can't share your enthusiasm but I hope you are both right. We should know in the next few weeks either way.
Onlooker- Of course ICSID wouldn't want to lose face but settlement isn't upto them. It's down to Indonesia and they're clearly corrupt. I think there is zero chance of settlement personally, not after that verdict, even if it was overturned.
Settling behind the scenes? Have you guys lost the plot? If you had such a verdict in your favour would you then settle? Come on now you're getting far too carried away! IF and it's an almighty big IF this comes to settle it would only be after annulment and once proceedings have started again. This would probably be years down the line!
"A further review of the suspension will be conducted once shareholders have been updated" So there is a chance that the shares will be open for trading again? In other words we aren't going into liquidation/administration. Please correct me if I am wrong...
Update today?
Cus it's a start up.... read the admission doc. It does say under risks that the company is yet to generate any revenue. They also state that revenues are expected as soon as next month. Why would they market it on the Internet anyway? These things are normally pitched behind closed doors to large multi nationals. Just because there's no info doesn't mean there isn't anything going on.
An accountant? That explains the lack of personality. What has the companies act got to do with this BB? Discussing a share you are invested in IS NOT a conflict of interest period. It is just jibberish aka chatting pointless s**t like you and many of the other trolls here continue to do day in day out.
Mava - it doesn't make sense period. I am a company director of 3 companies so understand the term very well. Bias;yes conflict of interest;no. Stupidest comment I have ever seen on a BB. Holders shouldn't comment because of a conflict of interest haha what an absolute weapon!
Conflict of interest doesn't make sense you donut. That's like me being a director of FTE and then saying that buying shares and making decisions in FTE would be a conflict of interest? Go back to bed will ya!
But you don't get non investors ramping a stock and why is that?? Cus it's pointless, a bit like deramping a stock you aren't invested in. Don't worry about what we're doing, worry about why you're worrying about what we're doing. If it doesn't involve you then it shouldn't concern you.
Whether there is or isn't, there will be at least another couple of years of delays here. I would suggest writing it off and checking the administrators website every few months 'just in case'.
Come on Shead let's get an update shall we. It's been nearly a month now since a damper was put on all our festive spirit. I am sure you must be extremely confident of your lawyers delivering on their blatant misappropriation of timescales. Actually..........
He doesn't know that as fact and is pure speculation. That poster was also stephen1946 who also ramped that sunken costs could take us to a $3b award. I would take it with a pinch of salt if I were you. In my limited knowledge of the legal World - if Oxus plan on appealing the decision through the French courts then they first have to have the original judgement set aside. This means waving good bye to the $14m tax rebate as essentially it reopens the case. We cannot accept the $14m and then use that money to appeal an original judgement it just doesn't work that way. Woof etc... do not have a clue what they're on about! Let's await an RNS shall we.
Rhodi - they will without doubt carry on the claim in the French national courts, it's the only possible way now. They can however only claim on a point of law and by the sounds of it that only point is the Uzbeks states 50% ownership of AGF and therefore 50% liability. I would forget Khandiza at all now. Even of that is then successful I wouldn't imagine a mega payout, more like restitution only. We have lost and lost big time. It'll be another couple of years now until it has been thrashed through the French courts, more dilution and more uncertainty. I imagine that this will open up at around half a penny if we're lucky and when I say lucky I mean if RS manages to sort our financial situation out or we may never trade again at all.
I'm not being funny mate but IF and it's a big IF what you say is true do you not think you have been a bit of a mug? There are far too many victims around in this country and no one admits or accepts their own mistakes these days. It's the claim culture that has come from America. It has turned everything into a blame game rather than accepting responsibility for ones actions. You've been had and you can only blame yourself (if what you say is true). Can I ask... If you transferred £4.5k in 3 transfers and never made any money why did you make 2 subsequent transfers after the first? Surely if you had LOST £50k you wouldn't follow this man's advice let alone pay him for it? If you are as gullible as you day you are then AIM or even investing at all really isn't for you. Go and buy some premium bonds or a cash ISA or something!
It may be, but we all knew the risks here and must take responsibility for our own investment decisions. We MAY get something back via perhaps a RTO or selling the machinery but it will be better to just write this off and get on with our lives. Even as a shell with no debts and massive tax losses (that can be carried forward) Oxus is worth something. Time will tell but I have written these off now. Going to spend some time with my kids... All the best.
I really am, for myself and all the other holders here. I had a fair whack in here and it'll hurt but I will recover. Just goes to show that there really isn't any justice in the World Corrupt regimes will always get out of the **** with their corrupt lawyers. I will read through the case when the details are released to find out why we have lost. It will probably be down to corruption somewhere. A life lesson for me.... never believe any of AIM's BODs as you will only get stung. That is me and AIM done for good now. I'll stick to FTSE investing. Been great chatting to most of you here and don't worry its only money! Merry xmas everyone and a happy new year x
Still think he's superman? Something has clearly gone on behind the scenes!
Yes but that was Asia and this is Europe...
