The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
For anyone interested, Pancontinental resources (PUC: TSX) released a 22min video on their recent drill results over at Brewer. Really insightful and multiple similarities with many of our deposits. Obv they're excited by the recent results but they seemed to insinuate they might have something bigger than Haile!

That's likely been holding this back. Could be more selling to come but with IIs increasing position as well as chunky buys going through today (more II buying?) , I'm sure we won't be around this area for too long. Think new ISA tax year starts on 6/4/21 so hopefully will stop any selling for that reason.
Think we have the perfect combination coming up - IG covering complete, new tax year, small free float (<50%), geo analysis & drill results. Unbelievably under the radar. No doubt a monster move sometime over the next few months (unless there's a market crash).
Definitely. I remember being told a while back anything above 20m @1g/t is commercial (depending on depth/jurisdiction). Gold prices are strong so if we're able to get similar results then that'd be great. The larger NQ holes were due to better quality analysis, which is probably true, but I think they are after larger, nuggety samples. I think a lot of us will be pleasantly surprised by what comes back. I wouldn't be surprised if one the drills goes A LOT further than 100m...
Can't imagine news it too far away. Might have finished drilling all the cores by now - imagine first couple of drills are with the labs currently. Hopefully we'll get results within the next couple weeks. Romarco were sending most of their cores off to Alaska and somewhere in the states (maybe Nevada?) from what I remember so really just depends on their workload.
Completely missed Pancon's drilling update 2 weeks ago regarding their phase 1 programme at Brewer.
181m @ 1.24g/t - Amazing result (Hole 5). Mineralisation from 56m (bottom of former pit) to 200m+. Very few holes drilled deeper than 200m and clearly this shows the potential of what's down there. Incredibly excited for when we drill exploratory holes on JKL & Jennings prospects!
I mentioned adjacent licensing on ADVFN (not much engagement on that board though!). Between 2007 & 2010, Romarco spent $10mn land-locking licenses in and around Haile. We all know how that went. I wonder if they've already had some results from the fixed-wing survey over JKL & are capitalising on that data... Likelihood is that these extra licenses have been negotiated over sometime.
A few chunky sells and it drops like a rock whilst all the large buys over the past few weeks barely got it to 4p. Just the way it is. Co could promote more but what can they say? They're drilling currently so just a case of sitting on our hands until those RNSs start dropping
