Over nearly 50 years of investing, I have never heard a bear story about a company value (share value) below that of its assumed asset valuation. Why would anyone talk so negative is beyond me. Clearly, this stock has short traders who hope that a zero value is possible. If breakeven, of a newly acquired bankrupt assets, is possible by year end, then I applaud the board. With all the best news of a ML in front of us, I cannot understand why long term investors would bother with such poorly portrayed opinion. Stay strong, buy dips, as I am doing, the sunrise is close. A bear with little to gain (0.028 of a penny) is to be smiled at...this will be a good investment.

Upbeat as I had hoped. Guarded as for big announcements but given current environment that's to expected. I have added to my position, again, today. I remain totally convinced that the outlook is extremely positive. If only a tenth of the turnover talked about came through for H and W, the current share capital would look like a steal. At this price, I view the SP as an option on the ML. If it comes through then I see it as a 50/1 winner. I like to think that the regional bias which this government pushed in its manifesto will stand this company in good stead. With a fair wind this company can, and I believe, will, become a significant success.

The only way to take advantage is via debt. It would show the market how serious you really were, not just snippets of positivity. I cannot see why someone has not bid for the company. At this rate they could get it for a song.

Given the depressed state of the companies market cap, I would love to see a bold and decisive move by the board. I know cash flow is very strained but if they really believe that H &W can be a stand alone business and the ML is assured, then raise another £1m in debt and start buying their own shares. Ok, the interest rate might me expensive but if they can generate profits of just £8m a year, that buy back would look inspired raising the yield significantly.

Call me old fashioned but selling a company at 0.0020p when a positive decision could see an increases of multiple 100s% smacks of two things...this following 30 years as a robber and broker...either sellers are stupid or...they know something. For a meagre gain selling now vs potential upside, it just seems very odd..

It's good to see the closing date for the consultation is today as planned. No delay due to the virus issue. Now we await the big day. Fingers crossed.

I expect overseas companies to be eyeing UK assets as many companies are now valued below their 07/08 lows in Dollar terms.

I have added this morning. If the markets get closed due to the virus, I think very possible, any good news may eminate during that period. It would also be that the market cap is little more than H W value. Can anyone update on the last ML public consultation? Sorry if I have missed it. Will it go ahead?

Far too much noise about the new debt raising. I am far happier that it is straight debt, even if a little rich, without any debt equity swap facility in the near term. I am drawing the conclusion that the board are confident short term cash flows will improve (at H & W) and that the marine licence will be granted. I and my friends have bought in on the basis that a) the ML gets green light b) H &W picks up sufficient refurb business c) The Budget in March focuses on the regions, inc NI...d) the Naval support ship contract (plus others) will be shared around the provinces.
As none of the above has yet been ruled out, I fail to see why I should be concerned by short term negative movements. Hold fast. At 0.0030p this is an option on a potential gold mine.

Below, is the spending in £/per head of population region by region. As you can see, Scotland has not only a big share compared with NI but it has grown 20% since 2014. This is probably to counter the SNP. Recently, additional significant investment for 2020 and beyond has been confirmed for Scottish ship yards. If Boris wants to get some votes in NI and more importantly, stand by his pledge to make growth more balanced in the UK...H & W would be a significant opportunity.

I understand and totally respect the need for facts. I always research and respect others that do likewise. However, these organisations would never answer direct questions from mere members of the public, especially when those answers could be construed as price sensitive. Sadly, when dealing with government organisations, speculation is all we have. That is the nature of investing in speculative companies such as INST. I wish you well.

Hi Lee. Yes, much to be done, I agree. However, in my experience as a low level politician, in the past, the public are like empty vessels. They make noise at first but then are too lazy to get involved. I would imagine only a few negative issues were repeated time and time again. Significant work has already been done on the overall impact of the project. My personal opinion, one that has convinced me become a shareholder recently, is that this government is committed to bringing jobs to the regions, which this will certainly do. Additionally, our commitment to remove all coal fired power generation by 2025 (only 5 remaining plants) puts further pressure on the time needed to get this type of energy securing project delivered.
