Not exactly. CEO stated "2020 secured revenue at 31 March 2020 already matches 2019 revenue", which I take as meaning on an annualised basis. So as at 31st March, even if they didn't close any new business, the revenues would match those of the previous year (£1,077,000). This suggests they had monthly recurring revenue of around £90k a month, as at the end of March. If they can sign up OEM's, per their strategy and IF those OEM's are successful in selling in to their clients, then this will definitely fly.

I am definitely not expecting an RNS today. The update on 24/6 told us that the test works and is now being optimised. AS commented as follows "I will be updating the market on progress in due course." Nowhere in that RNS does it state they will provide an update before the end of June. I don't expect any further updates for at least a couple of weeks, but of course sooner would be a bonus.

I really like Blackbird and see huge potential. Not sure I would describe market cap as tiny. roughly 65x last years sales. If they achieve £2m sales this year then 35x PSR. Need to see some big wins to justify a much higher price, based on current fundamentals. I would prefer to wait at these levels, and hopefully see some more progress with larger contract wins.

I struggled to buy this morning but eventually picked up 37,825 at 111p. Keep the faith!

I think it's time for the Avacta PR team to go into overdrive. Up until now, they haven't been able to speak about the test in any detail, as it might not have made it to market. But this RNS confirms we have a working test, and it will be coming to market soon. The PR people need to be all over this today.

At-home -agree, this is massive news. It completely de-risks the possibility that the test doesn't work. The test works and will be on sale soon,

PROP5 - I think if there were any concerns about the viability of the test then they wouldn't have made this announcement to the market, nor would they have produced the video released yesterday. The test is coming to market, it will be gold standard lateral flow, and it will sell hundreds of millions. Says nothing in any of these publications about trialing Avacta. All it says is they are aware of the test and considering it. Keep it to the facts.

This just confirms what we knew already. The UK Government is aware of the Avacta test, but clearly still waiting for the prototype and no suggestion whatsoever that it is ready, YET !

Great news but let's not get carried away again. It quite clearly states they are trialing Optigene test and CONSIDERING other tests, including Avacta. This doesn't warrant an RNS. It's what we know already.

Any views on this company and their licenses?
