The bottom line is they were or were not offered a price to acquire the company. If they were they rejected it based on it was too low. They now believe that forging ahead they will be worth more (based on increasing revenues, profitably or whatever). If they were not offered anything then something is clearly wrong. I don't believe the latter to be the case and the recent large buys indicate I am not alone.
We have about a week to see how they are progressing with regards to adding value.
Tony et al are busy people.
Let idiots deramp. Let those who have not researched enough or are way over exposed sweat at a small drift downwards.
It is happening. The rest is just noise.
Some sold a big chunk after the bell this morning.
Price holding up however.
Agreed.
To admit it was to early for a sale show naivety in a market that they should know inside out. That is what worries me.
If their growth projections were to be trusted then any potential acquirer would have be eager to buy earlier (at a lesser price) than later (at a higher price).
My guess is directors were a little too greedy/unrealistic with what they were will to accept, which implies a level of confidence in growth and reaching profitability. Time will tell if that confidence is valid or not.
EyeGuy, how can warrants at 1p encourage the price in an upward direction?
Not sure what that is about.
3 today, a few on Friday.

The metric of profitability has not been placed by me but the market. Why has it not performed Vs all those increasing KPI?
Why did no one snap it up whilst it was for sale?
It seems that prove of the business model reaching break even is required to convince the wider market.
It is not what your opinion is or my opinion that counts but the opinion of the wider audience.
They have raised cash numerous times after saying they didn't need to. I am convinced that someone will buy it however, the potential acquirers were exposed way more of the details than you or I were and they did not make a sufficient offer. Why is that?
Are they seeing a different picture or are BOOM holding out for bigger offers?
Only if they can be seen to be profitable and growth is scalable. They have had incredible growth in various KPI yet cost of to sales has increased in sympathy. Hence placing and drawdown.
Certainly getting more attention from the usual suspects. Either they are in the know regarding eoy figures are they are collectively encouraging others to buy.
Looks like Tobin has been buying again.
It is difficult to know what his game is and why if he is buying no other directors are
Who is that guy on twitter who posts carp about arcm and nothing else?
A very sad life some people choose to lead.
Hilarious watching this.
The BS posted on SM and here.
Wake the hell up.
says it all. What does he know?
PW - I did not say that at all.
What I said was about perceived value.
I think it should be worth more, so does many others.
The wider market that ultimately sets the price currently does not.
I agree on the major change.
The bottom line is not what you or I think the company is worth, it is what the wider the audience think. Quite frankly they do not see much worth at the moment and neither did those who looked to acquire it.
Losing patience.
Horror show?
Have some patience FFS.
Pete -
People may be listening to more podcasts, however money is made by advertising.
If the adverts are not turning into sales as many have no spare cash or are not spending due to uncertainty then BOOMs income will fall.
The idea that BOOM is covid proof is very misguided.
They clearly think they are worth much more than the rest of the market does.
£4/share or say £6/share is neither here nor there for say Spotify who are seeing great value in podcasts but are not interesting to acquiring BOOM, if they did, they would.
Tobin buying to keep the price up (matching those big sells).
It is a **** show at the moment.
PR/IR is utterly non existent.
40% down from the placing price.
Come Rob P all is forgiven
He is not wrong.
As soon as finance is sorted then more II will be buying in especially over the 100mcap.
Jeez!
A big project and we are in a pandemic and people are panic selling - lol.
Purchased a few more at sub 5.4p. Happy days!!!
No wonder some people do not make money
