Times are great. If soundcloud can raise 170m after almost going bust, months after being offered 700m from spotify then a low ball park Deezer offer would definitely be challenged.

Gunner, listens appear to continue to grow and AON are becoming established. A few new ones coming very soon. "Deliberations" is out 16th Aug. The production cost is up front and the revenue from ads is delayed however so people need to grasp that massive listens do not become cash immediately ( unfortunate but how it is) I believe that AB are on the cusp. The Deezer deal is much bigger (in many aspects) than the market realise. The shop window has got much bigger and the product range and margins make AB an attractive M&A consideration. It is not only AB who are aggressively looking to land grab! Would Apple (who make available many AB podcasts and know its value) allow Deezer to acquire AB at a give away price?

Important to note that the Deezer app, which now gives access to all AB content, is more popular than ABs app (obvious as it was primarily a music app) This gives much more exposure, so I would think athletico mince, hip hop saved my life etc. to get a wider audience from now on.

4-6 mill per week ... that is a 7 figure sum (£1.5m conservative?) in revenue to AB per year from one podcast ... The US recording office has only just come on line, so AON US podcasts are yet to hit the market in anger Looking good!!!

The numbers surrounding listens are pretty insane and growing. If 5.4m is not broken this year I will eat my own bum hole.

Anyone further digging around deezer? Acquired stitcher (podcaster) who created s-town which was a huge success, but sadly only a hand full of episodes.

The numbers are incredible and being proven out. The market has ignored BOOM due to legacy issue and many still do not understand where they get their revenue stream from. When the penny drops the SP will much higher imo (or very possible we get acquired). Patience is a virtue ...
