It will analyse data and decide what content the user is mostly likely to be interested. Big deal? The same data will also show what adverts appeal to them and hence better yield for advertisers. How big are Redditt? 😀

pivotlgubbins - I would tend to agree. I am not sure why but most conversations about boom seem to conclude that 16p is the sale price. They are at a point where they can break even but that would limit growth. Standing still in quickly growing market is the wrong to do imo. If they could raise say £20m to grow quickly I would be very happy. Long term it would be great.

Who has been buying in chunks this week? What do they know / predict? Podcasting getting a lot of coverage at the moment in the press. The big boys are beginning to get it - see acast. Raising money to expand, the amount of money that is not dissimilar to AB mcap. If investors are prepared to fund acast I wonder id they would support M & A activity? I predict yes. Will BOOM buy or get bought?

Although DAB is FSTs back bone product and will sell very well it will/is being superceded by internet radio in the home (all main dab channels are available via the internet). This is why sound bar, google cast and most importantly smart speaker (echo, google home) support are being targeted by FST also. The latter is a market that will grow massively (see recent audioboom news for mentions of this)

Good point gunner. 2015 Q3 results were 17th Sept. So we could get results as early as next week. I am hoping for > 1.4m in revs (if it is reported) as this will put boom on track to hit the 5.4m target for year. Which seemed aggressive at the time and many thought unrealistic.

Absolute bargain at these levels with news potentially weeks away.

IoT is a broad brush. M2M data is the biggie imo. LoRa and sigfox should do well for long range low data networks. Zigbee and BT been around for years enabling short range but uptake been slow. Maybe 802.11.af and BTLE will kick start things for homes?

The PR machine (AB are also employing a 3rd party to support this activity) seems to have taken a noticeable step up in recent weeks. Company been very quiet and then lots of stuff gets published. Something brewing?
