boothen - Q1 update was RNS'd March 3rd

Lots of people feeling a little touchy of late. In context, regardless of history, the company is now funded by some big time investors who do not throw money away. Podcasts on trend and AB in early with great partners and proven revenue stream. Do I wish I had waited until now to invest? Of coursel, but I would still invest (and bought more recently). I am pi55ed about placing? Not really. Knew it was likely. Wish there was another way but nature of the beast. Great entry price, limited down side compared to upside. All in my opinion of course. Buying on the opwn market does not give the company extra funds to expand with though, a placing does. More shares in issue but company will be better off and worth more.

Shares go up and down. In order to make money in these tricky markets one must take responsibility. Nobody forces anyone to buy, sell or hold. If you make a call and it goes wrong beyond the point where you are comfortable, you have to take responsibility and change things. Blaming everyman and his dog changes nothing. Stocks do crazy things - IMG most recently on the main markets - who knew that was coming? who is to blame? does it matter? If you cannot accept that the unexpected happens then may be a nice 1% pa cash isa is the place for you. JAFQ - If I have annoyed you then it says much more about you than it does about me ...

In defense of Mr Shoes, Justafewpence always does comes across as negative and critical in a completely unjustified way. Saying "something not right here" is pretty unambiguous imo

Excellent stuff mozax. Boom is definitely well placed. News is expected 6 or 7th April I believe so throwing in extra cash might have to happen asap. Good luck.

Delayed trade ... £25k ... I wonder what they believe is coming

The delay could always be due to change of broker. More likely a combination of a few things.

Ledzep... Apparently herald investment trust have subscribed but shares won't get issued until April 7th (according to a guy on advfn). I am guessing that they might announce everything in one go? Who knows, but I am more than happy with boom at the moment.

Opportunity to buy below placing price due to impatient PI and lack of understanding. Revenues are increasing. Podcasts are hot. Audioboom repositioned at the epi-centre whilst still having a strong presence in other major regions.

Mr Shoes, Exactly! I have been saying the same for a long time, especially to the uninformed who go about AB not having content (although they do) or Russel Brand this and that. It matters very little. Look where most of our revenue comes from. This is why SONR was key and why iheart, cumulus etc. are huge partners
