You misunderstand me, GW - algorithms do not operate in isolation, they incorporate supply and demand in their composition, so that if there is sufficient demand, the SP will rise. They are however ruthless in seeking a bottom or a top, which tends to exaggerate any movement.

I pretty much agree with what you say, Pie. MM algos give the ordinary punter little chance to determine the bottom so one must rely on fundamentals. Right now, by the SP falling, or at least not rising, the market is saying it does not believe XTR can earn month-on-month increases in revenue. Now that there is no sign of rain in the 10 day forecast, I don't agree.

After the initial contractor agreement with Sino, dated 11th July last year, in which they were required to up capacity to 400tph by 15th January, I can't find any update. We know that it was they who were almost solely responsible for our income in Q4, and very likely almost the same in Q1. We also know that, while not as much as the other contractors, they too were affected by the rains, so it could well be that, with the rains finished, they are now able to operate at or near nameplate capacity. It's a pity we still have to deduce and guess these things, but I hope now that we are into better weather CB will find himself more able to divulge details such as the above.

Sooner or later sentiment will turn, there are at best a handful of sells per day, but so far few are willing to put their money on the table and buy. I have been buying in the 1.70s these last couple of days. I regard us now as vastly oversold, but stock markets would be far too easy if we could say when the turnaround will happen.

Andrew - I think that the recent satellite images of Manica that Daz posted the other day tell a very positive story. The rains may have hampered gold production severely in the last two quarters, but there has clearly been a lot of preparatory work going on that should now begin to pay dividends this current quarter and going forward. CB did not put overmuch emphasis in his presentations earlier this year on the effects of the rains, beyond mentioning them once or twice, and he appears to remain genuinely upbeat about prospects at the licence. Of course to maintain a public face of optimism is part of his job, but nonetheless these images may go some way to explaining why he was surprised at the somewhat confrontational shareholder questioning at the show last month: he knows first hand what progress has been made on the ground - perhaps we are not so well-informed.

I'd estimate at around �600-700k. There will have been some corporate overheads but Manica is pretty much paying for itself.

The rains did us in over the last two quarters. Very likely at least one of our alluvial contractors was a bit of a dud too. CB has put a brave face on the situation. No doubt he's been economical with the truth, but I don't think he's a quitter, especially not on this project. Now we are back where we started. Fortune has not favoured us yet but I have hopes that Q2 will be the turnaround. Long and strong.

As JDAU explained the other day, it's doubtful that CB, having taken on the challenge of Manica and written contracts with several outfits to shoulder the risk and thus to reap modest rewards, will be inclined to unravel it all for a lump sum. I have the impression that he is a fighter and will see this through - I hope to success - but to the end, whatever the outcome. That said, we all have our price....even old Snooty can be bought for a modest sum in gold bullion.

Continued Aphria appreciation may prove the catalyst for movement here in due course, but for me the major factor is for FCT's first client to be announced.

Judging from last night's long and rather boring US Senate Subcommittee hearing, in which Factom was mentioned by name a couple of times and referenced many more, we can expect further funding from that direction. I view this as a huge endorsement of Factom's protocol, and while the DHS is not yet a client, it is a very positive development.

Two to six weeks was mentioned, we have had two and a half. Knowing the time these things usually take, I wouldn't start preening your feathers quite yet.
