My most illustrious ancestor, Admiral of the Fleet Sir Snootivel Snooty, always asserted that, when faced with a problem one should always look at it from the other end of the telescope to gain perspective; thus, one may perhaps pity those poor unfortunates straining at the leash to buy a few hundred thousand of our priceless shares, but unable to do so. In due course, news will no doubt catapult us into the price range where a few more holders are tempted to put short term lucre ahead of long term wealth, and sell, the misguided fools.
Sir Snootivel went down with his ship, HMS Indestructible, in 1804, having mistaken a sandbank off Dungeness for a French invasion force. His body washed ashore some days later at Leysdown-on-Sea, hands still clutching his telescope - the wrong way round.
