As of yesterday's close, and since the new Baxter shares are not yet in play, we had 136.04m shares in issue, implying an MCAP of (136.04 x 1.25) = approx. $170m, not the $374.4m stated above.

A reminder of the dollar-equivalent price at which we delisted from AIM: 6p on AIM is equivalent, taking the conversion rate and exchange rate into consideration, to about $0.31. As of Thursday the last bid on OTC was $1.25, or four times UK delisting mid price. I gather from several sources that there is still a little technical detail to iron out with our share certificates in order for them to become tradeable. Though no-one seems able to give a definitive date, I am being told a week or two. More than that I cannot say. As regards the direction of our share price, I imagine that the Baxter investment recently announced should give an indication of the likely floor price, but at the moment it seems that, with so little liquidity, almost anything is possible. Under such circumstances it seems to me important to recall just what potential XBIO has, and to remember that the current period of trading is an aberration brought on by chronic illiquidity. This will be corrected in due course, though no doubt not without further lurches both north and south in the share price.

It's the same wherever you look. I guess it's a product of this being a "pioneering" move, to quote Mr M. My own broker, having assured me just last week that I'd be able to trade XBIO on the sell side at least, is now saying they can't for the foreseeable future. Fortunately, like many others, I'm here at least until they monetise PSA-EPO and list on NASDAQ, so it's not a problem. Still, it would be nice to know exactly where we stand.
