Don't worry you will get the dividend - all I would say is if the shares aren't held in an ISA might be a good idea to transfer so you don't have to pay tax on any dividend

we're all on the same side here guys! Thar coal project worth $6-8 billion of which we own 12% so our stake Max $960 million which equates to 31p per share - dividend not out of the question.
Gold projects value who knows but 1Moz equates to 55p per share gross obviously we'd do a JV and minus extraction costs we could end up with say 20% of that so another 11p per share.
Either way I'm very confident we are incredibly materially undervalued at the current price!

Well this is looking rather a lot better buy after buy today and ticking up nicely. Hint of LOI soon and it will be back to 1p in a flash - surely 2p minimum when it's finally approved - then we have the gold results at Jundee East hopefully next week and drilling starting at Northern zone very soon - very excited about this next few weeks

It is the overarching plan for power generation in ****stan. Naheed has specifically said we are waiting for it to be approved before they will decide on the order of priority for power projects - they have agreed it based on prioritising indigenous resources and least cost electricity production. While renewables share is increasing (and they want to emphasise this for green credentials) it only accounts for 30% by 2030 and they are desperate for reliable generation capacity and energy security - hence Thar coal is high up the list. Next step is approval by cabinet probably next week, then LOI will be very much back on track. Hopefully JCC will happen soon too and they can get on the agenda this time

The IGCEP envisions the commissioning of a portfolio of new generation projects including many hydropower projects, Thar coal-based projects, K-3 nuclear power plant, and over 4,000MW of solar and wind-based renewable energy projects.

Under the approved IGCEP the generation mix of 2022 which is dominated by fossil fuel will shift to clean energy (hydel, Solar, Wind, Nuclear) by the year 2030.

Moreover, for the same period, the indigenous fuel-based generation against the imported fuel-based generation is going to improve from 69% to 87% of the total fuel-based generation.

Expect a lot of talk from provinces being reported as these negotiations over the power plan continue. The comment on Oracle not being in CPEC was about not being included in the JCC meeting agenda. Naheed explained the politics very clearly and I see Sindh Energy Minister has again been criticising the federal government for not approving Sindh projects in a press conference yesterday. There is definitely movement behind the scenes.

Naheed said it was impossible for the government to ignore an indigenous energy project when they are importing LNG at huge cost and there are constant blackouts. We are getting to the end of the process - not long now. ANd as we have completed all steps for approval we will be first in the queue when they government gives the go ahead. It's all about the IGCEP now which has to be finalised early September for the World Bank loan approval to go ahead. Exciting times

can't really believe anyone is fretting about the exact wording in the article I shared. They are always in bad English and you have to interpret - I read it that Oracle, a CPEC project (this hasn't changed), wasn't specifically included in the IGCEP plan - hopefully that changes with the negotiations between central government and provinces - we have a Sindh coal guy in charge now so looks good to me - expecting some company changing news this week it's closer than it's ever been!

New CEO interview confirms no need for raise - new drilling campaign at Bibemi already factored into last year's placing and Senala is free carry - plenty of cash and warrants to fund ongoing activities. Also potential of equity sales of minor projects. Says they are aggressively focussed on using company cash to prove prospects for sale and fast turn around. Lots of results to come at Senala and Central Cameroon this quarter.
