National Electrical Policy (NEP) has been approved recently by CCI (Council of Common Interest) which is the final approving institution in this respect. NEP stresses utilization of local energy resources like hydro, Thar coal, local gas and solar and wind power. Installation of imported coal power plants has been an aberration. Attempts are being made to convert, albeit partially, the imported coal power plants to Thar coal. This aspect along with technology and indigenization appears to be the most strongest and appreciable aspect of NEP.

Clearly if they have found what they are very confident they've found this will be one of the shares of 2021 - throw in Thar progress and it could easily go the way of GGP

Pretty clear from the interview that she believes they have made a major discovery but can't yet say that definitively - she did say it is similar to the nearby Jundee mine which produced 100,000s ounces of gold a year over many years - this looks very exciting indeed hopefully the market will get excited about it soon!

All looking good now for LOI very soon

She confirmed JCC expected virtual meeting very soon - LOI just waiting for power plan review which is well overdue and expected soon - until then it's all ready just sitting on the desk at PPIB waiting for the nod - CTG and CTL policy under negotiation and progressing but LOI for power plant can still go ahead without it. Not much mention of gold. Status change just a mistake everything still progressing as already reported and constantly in contact with Government but everything waiting for this power review

A material change in the status of the project and the company are saying nothing...yet. hopefully they are trying to get an official statement to RNS because this is a game changer - project approved!

Policy draft: Proposal to convert Thar coal into liquid fuels, gas

****stan and China are exploring possibilities for convening a much-awaited Joint Cooperation Committee (JCC) under the CPEC framework by the end of the ongoing month. However, both sides could not finalise the agenda of the meeting but efforts are underway to convene the upcoming JCC around March 26 to 30, 2021. There's a hell of a lot to go through very comprehensive as far as I can see

Going to catch a lot of people out this share, and many will sell too early - I am fully expecting 10 times the current price this year. Every new development derisks the investment for me and it's been all positive recently with gold the cherry on the cake. Events like this conference with all the big decision makers present don't happen without very serious support from the top IMO, and Naheed has said this also: the Thar project must happen. Hope we get some good outcomes reported tomorrow and press coverage from the local papers follows.
