RE: New presentation6 Oct 2022 15:21
Tivman - this "new" presentation is actually quite old news, pre-dating Lucyd's IPO. I agree Clifford sounds upbeat. But he would, wouldn't he? And the share price certainly isn't, despite two of TEK's four companies now having IPO'd. The elephant in the room is why there's an ever-increasing discount to NAV here. Presumably market conditions are partly to blame, but Clifford conveniently avoids the question, preferring to dwell on the supposed valuation uplift in all four of TEK's companies. I am a holder, but won't be adding, as tech is currently unfashionable, so TEK could have further to fall. I also don't like the lack of any real clarity over exit strategy & any special dividend distributions that may result. Sure, it's talked about, but two of the four companies have already listed, yet TEK's share price is almost the lowest it's been for over a year. That said, I will continue to hold rather than sell my existing shares, as I still think there may be decent longer term growth potential here.
