Interesting reading peoples views on JP Morgan and its broker,

My view is they get things wrong as much as they get things right. During the financial crisis, they almost had to file chapter 11 bankruptcy but got bailed out. They predicted in November 22 that in January 23 the SNP500 would retest lows in the 3600`s and now have a problem as they missed the Bounce and are positioned badly.

I think the only real thing that I have heard from them was when in the Congress hearing after the Financial Crisis they said "brokers views are opinions and those opinions often reflect the requirements of the bank". I doubt much has changed

I use to follow this share but dropped it off the list. That said I added it back when it went below 1.50 and have been following it including the German contract wins etc

I took a few thousand myself for the Isa , the unexplained drop gave me an opportunity so I took it, never look a gift horse in the mouth

Wow some volatility this morning , MM games caused the dip the by the look of it

Jobs report in nutshell, lets see after the initial spike down how the markets (US) interprets it, but saying that its a Friday

Headline number blowout to the upside (good for economy but bad in general for the macro)
Ave Hours worked up (good in general)
Wage inflation down (but only at Consensus)

The headline number is going to be less important this time around unless it way off expectations.

The JOLTS also contains wage price inflation numbers and this is what everybody will be looking at. If you get wage price inflation going down , especially if it drop beats expectations it will confirm the "soft landing" scenario. The Fed has has on several occasions that this is one of the main stats they look at.

Conversely if wage price inflation rises significantly its going to get ugly quickly

A Good jobs report would see wage price inflation fall, the bigger the fall the better the US market will like it

I think you may be right, but I think the Jobs data out of the US later will determine the direction of the market in a large way today

I was happy with results for the reasons I posted and several others did as well.

Unfortunately the market was not , the media and several posters here pointed out information that my "rose tinted" glass`s overlooked. Fighting the market sentiment is not a good idea, so;

I had 33,000 at 50P average and sold then today in 2 batches at 62.4 and just under 61 to book profit. I will be looking to comeback in the low 40`s with my first buy in again (and probably afraid that it wont go down)

I wish all LTH holders good luck especially those with higher averages. I still believe the company is very undervalued, but the market doesn't at the moment

happy with the update, THG are taking action where needed, headcount reduced, FCF in H2 and that 1Billion Ingenuity

All we have to do is sit tight and good things will come to those who wait. I know it doesn't mean much but at the time of posting according to the LSE buys are 1.72 Mill and sells are 1.68 mill

dam it , dam it dam it (and excuse the mini rant)

I currently hold 33,000 THG in an ISA (not huge compared with some here) at just over 50p and I had to go out first thing this morning when THG was negative and put in a buy order for 7000 at 64.5p to make it a round 40K figure.
Just got back and my buy order missed by 0.3p so no 7K shares and THG is up over 6%, it would have been a perfect trade.

I checked the boards and no "the steves" de ramping, all they had to do was throw a few of there normal comments and I may have got my buy order filled. You simply cant rely on De Rampers
