Why has the quality of conversation gone south

The facts that are keeping the SP down are

1 refinancing 26 bonds

2 Oil price going south due to growth concerns

3 Production concerns

4 CEO appointment

5 settlement/ receipt of cash for Gabon and Kenya sales

Lack of communication from the business doesn’t help

However Positive news on any of the above will see this move upwards

Lets see some positive and sensible conversations around these topics and other real issues , even if the topics or news is not positive for TLW

Anyone invested here should be contributing to open and constructive debate accordingly,

All constructive discussion should be respectfully received and debated

Surely this approach would be to the benefit of all

Mid 20s is my current target

Selling out at high 30s was a great call given oil prices were in 80s

I used the opportunity to trade and did ok however currently in negative territory due to the perfect storm that has occurred since

Timing is everything and if the 26 notes were 3 years off things would not be as bad

That said I believe the worst is over

If tlw achieve refinancing and production is optimised then a 75 dpb could see this in the middle 20s

I might be wrong

I agree with you on astute posts but I also think open debate is good as no two perspectives are ever the same. as the TWL story unfolds so will peoples opinions and ideas. It is good that all these are tabled and questioned, sometimes with a bit of humour thrown in

We are all here to hopefully make money but no one has the crystal ball Unfortunately

Don’t disagree that some LTH myself included, were surprised by RD departure

As usual we PI are too remote and are always faced with having to make decisions after game changing events

Others closer to events and in the know made their moves hence the SP slow decline last year

I have to accept that I certainly would have been out if I had any inclination however I am still here and have actually topped up at these low prices

Yes it is a gamble however it wouldn’t take much to make the OP shoot in the opposite direction. With DT at the wheel for another 3 years and 8 months or so anything can happen.

The other point is that Tlw appears to be following a plan, possibly with those who will provide the refinancing

If these two possibilities transpire then I believe the SP will double as long as Jubilee performs

I never thought we’d get to 60p without new discoveries however I thought 30 p was a good play price

Now I am looking at mid 20s tops, however that’s my call and I have to carry the burden of any loss should this hit the deck

The interesting thing is that it has happened all so quickly which is proactive and is better than inaction

I get the feeling that the company fortunes may be changing

Sustainable capital increase holding 17th April

OP is currently recovering- the world hasn’t stopped turning despite DT s best efforts

Just need the refinancing confirmation and positive jubilee production and this could easily double

Let’s hope this positive pro-active action continues as it has been like watching paint dry under RD

Trading update stated forecast 51 to 55 k BOpd for FY2025

2024 FY forecast 61kBOPd for 2024 but this includes 6k of gas so we are looking at similar forecasts

It could be just current market sentiment as Trump will be forced to lower oil prices to force Putin to the negotiating table. Putin doesn’t want to stop the war because he can’t. He will be deposed!

So short term oil prices will be lower

Fingers crossed for some positive news early on in the new year

I invested here as I believed RD was a safe pair of hands to lead tlw out of the dept that had burdened the business for so long

But the uncertainty that appears to have materialised over the last few weeks is astounding

There doesn’t appear to be any visibility on what is going on which is worrying

I ask myself how did I get here

Maybe the market is reacting negatively over the uncertainty however over the long term the market tends to react to substance which again makes me think that we have all been misled

I hope that I am worrying unnecessarily
