You're expecting people to believe that a 'CONJOB' is investing an initial £500,000 in PVR, that Pageant Holdings is investing £600,000 in a project led by a company it knows to be a 'CONJOB' , that other institutions are investing a combined £2,700,000 in a project run by confidence tricksters.
You may have noticed that we private investors have been excluded from the fundraising, so it's not we who are risking our money with the 'CONJOB' artists, as you call them.
PVR company directors have just invested a combined £48,000 in a project led, according to you, by conmen.
Don't tell me that the amounts are derisory and simply enable them to collect big salaries while they too con us.
You're implying that Pat Plunkett and Alan Linn are part of a scam and scamming themselves at the same time.
Can you cite any case of either director allegedly doing deals with conmen?
Both are, I believe, in their sixties, so they have had plenty of time to con shareholders.

People have been saying for years that there must be something wrong with Barryroe because the majors aren't interested.

Major oil firms such as Petronas are understood to be primarily interested in Providence Resources because of its stake in the Barryroe field, Ireland's biggest ever oil find.

As I've said before, JS, contrary to allegations made by some posters, TOR never lied about Barryroe.
He said 'there's nothing wrong with Barryroe!' and Linn obviously thinks likewise.
We actually had posters calling Barryroe a load of rubbish, but Linn calls it 'first class.'
In due course, we will see who is talking rubbish, and I don't think it's Linn.

He also said that there is a refinery nearby capable of processing 75,000 bopd.
He reckons the break-even price would be around $26 p.b.
He also said that he hopes shortly to be able to provide information about SpotOn's partners.
It doesn't look like a project intended 'to lure mug punters'.

Presumably, the following was meant:
“It appears likely that in its early response to the outbreak, China failed to uphold its obligations”
I suspect that there is about as much chance of China compensating the UK as of APEC's cheque ever being cleared.

I had noticed the same problem with another stock earlier, but as it was during trading hours, showing an impossible increase in price from the previous day's close, I knew something was wrong and then when I looked at the trades, they were from February.
So, I have to ask other posters to disregard my previous post.
The price hardly went up, after all!

I thought I checked the share price this morning, but maybe I was distracted, and have only just seen it.
I was surprised when I saw the closing price.
I do not wish to argue with anyone here, but it's strange: usually, when a share price slumps, the management is excoriated by posters who complain that they aren't doing anything to support it.
In this case, with the price having fallen 82 percent from its peak, dragged down by an out of favour oil sector, and then by the general stock market crash and oil price collapse, the price doubles from its low, rising by about 75 percent in one day, and the BOD come under attack!

I averaged down for the seventh time at 5.525p, although I had intended to buy nearly two-and-a half times as much at 5p, and now wish I had.

LSE is currently showing a price of 3.00p, from 13 February - that is, when the site is working at all.

TOR went.
They said the company wouldn't be able to raise money to last beyond 2019.
It did.
They said they wouldn't be able to attract a highly-regarded replacement for TOR.
They did.
They said that they wouldn't be able to raise the cash to last into 2021.
They have.
They said no-one would be interested in farming into Barryroe.
Someone is.

What makes you think that only newcomers are pleased about the news?
I've massive losses too, but what's that got to do with one's assessment of prospects?
I've seen similar despondency on other shares, with posters confidently predicting that PMO would go bust just days ago, and then, when the price rallied strongly, that it will soon collapse again - but it has carried on rising.
I've seen posts predicting that HUR would be bust in September and JOG in July, too, all based on collapsed share prices.
Share prices do bottom out and if you convince yourself that a company's prospects are always accurately represented by its share price, then you will do things like buying shares in PVR at 800p and selling at 2p.
