I think shareholders were entitled to an explanation as to how the inflated valuation came about.
We've never been told.
If a company suddenly tells its shareholders that its key asset is worth only half as much as previously stated, one would expect some explanation.

I'm not a member of your group, Trellis, and anyway am not sure I would add much weight to it, as I have a much smaller holding than your members, but I would just like to thank you for keeping everyone updated.

The main worry is, as you say, funding, and if it isn't forthcoming, the SM farmout negotiations can be terminated.
I still think that although JP has lot to answer for and his hype was disgraceful, he wasn't wrong about SOU having potential.
Whether Tendrara holds as much as 31 or 34 TCF, however, remains to be seen.
I just hope we get a chance to find out.

You're confusing two break-even prices, robone: $17 and $26.
HUR is making a profit per barrel sold at Brent $17, but needs $26 per barrel to break even as a business.

It's funny - yesterday, I pointed out that directors of HUR, which has been comprehensively trashed by UKOG promoters here, bought about 240,000 shares about a week ago.
The response?
'That's nothing!'
'So what?'
HUR directors put a 'derisory' £24,000 into their company and we are expected to get excited about that?
When are UKOG directors going to do something similar?
Yet UKOG United here seem to get excited every day.

I agree that the RNS and oil price rally mean the price may have bottomed, but we were told by resident posters that the shares were a screaming buy at multiples of the present price.

Just in case my friend Genghis is reading comments posted today, that's PLUS $55, not MINUS $55.

What would that do to HUR's SP, Jamie Ashcroft's assessments, and analysts' share price predictions and valuations?

By the way, it's now 11 months since HUR started production, which has been continuous and was recently increased by 50 percent.
Can someone please explain how that means that HUR is not a 'stable producer'?

If there's no problem and UKOG really is on its way to producing 1,000 - 3,500 pobd, as the loyalist enthusiasts here seem to be claiming, why doesn't the company say so?
