Yes, you're right - TP3 has got it completely wrong.

1 TCF is worth about 70p to SOU - not 37p - and TE-5 is worth about 27p to SOU - not 12p (all figures per share).

Well, I made the same point some time ago and the reply was something to the effect that Rothschild's would do it anyway for money, regardless of whether the asset was any good.

As I was saying, there are big investors who think that the lower the price goes, the stronger the case for buying, whereas the smaller investors think that the lower the price goes, the stronger the case for selling.

I wasn't sure that there have been any short positions and thought someone might question that point.

Let me put it another way: I am convinced that many AIM stocks are being manipulated one way or another.

I am not sure how it's done, but there have been so many collapses, to levels obviously far below the most conservative valuations, that I am convinced it is being done.

I can recall a time when there was great enthusiasm for such companies, whereas now almost everyone appears to expect doom.

The share price dominates everything else; the shorters seem to dominate the market; therefore the shorter appear to be dominating the facts.

Look on the bright side: within the next five and a half months, we should have been put out of our misery.

Sounds rather like the Weakest Link - the kind of programme that would have been unthinkable during television's heyday.
