Get real - we have a pandemic which meant the use of the furlough scheme to keep peoples jobs. Coming out of lockdowns/futlough schemes meant large artificial increases in salaries back to pre pandemic/furlough scheme levels.

The income element of the triple lock was abandoned due to the artificial wage increases coming out of lockdown/furlough - I thought everyone would have known that.

If better off peoples incomes fell and thus lowering median incomes then there would be people less well off maintaining an income who are lifted out of 'relative' poverty.

I have said that an increasing population puts more demand on housing.
The number of people leaving the UK is irrelevant.
