Based on fundamentals, you couldn't argue too much with a valuation of Lloyds being at 90p.

At 90p Lloyds could currently afford a 5.5% dividend yield without buybacks.

The market sets the valuation, contrarian to an 'expert' analyst producing valuations based on fundamentals.

That is good - the longer the share price stays at that level or lower , the faster the rate at which the share count can be reduced , and the faster the increases in dividend yields would be as each year passed.

Only hypothetical of course - the share price would not remain at the same level with the same profitability with ever decreasing numbers of shares in issue - if it did then we would one day be at triple digit yields.

1.3p per share increase in business valuation, after the departure of 2p per share cash from the business, to soon reach the accounts of shareholders.

Why would i be interested in what JPM mean when I am going to ignore it - waste of my time.

I make my investment decisions based on what i think (economy,recession, interest rates etc etc), and published facts about the state of Lloyds banks profitability and policies.
