I believe an investment company like 3I would not pay corporation tax on gains made from sales at the company level on any asset sales as that would be double taxation. It is at the shareholder level that capital gains tax may be liable with the selling of 3I Group shares.

I would expect that a flotation of ACTION would be the most likely eventual outcome.

I would most likely purchase more nearer the 400p level

A 20% discount would put the shares at about £23 per share

A tiny amount at under 457p, just to get my holdings in my HSBC account back to a round number of shares.

It went to sub 460p before xd (I invested a further small amount at 459p on etoro at that stage)

I may buy a few at about the same level to get the number of shares held in my HSBC investdirect account back to a round number following the consolidation. I will treat the investment on etoro as I would a spread bet - simply adjusting my average share price by the profit made when closing the position.

I have made a fortune from CLS having first bought in early 2000 and seeing it multibag about 5 years later before selling most of them Then followed a crash in price which I took full advantage of resulting in another fortune being made taking profits on the way to peak prices.

In more recent times, it was only about three years ago that CLS offered £2.50 per share to shareholders for some of their shares which I took up. Bargain prices need to be taken advantage of, which is why I have purchased 4 times in recent months at under 60p. The lower the price the more money that was pumped in.

?? the share price is still up about 200% from about 3 years ago.

It is a simple case that most of the massive premium has been given up, with the shares now trading at about a little over a 10% premium

What is has, is some cash and investments where the total value means that the current share price is at over a 100% premium to tnav.

Current market cap is about £27 million

MAST that I also warned about has gone from a share price of over £2 to the current 7p with the market cap at this moment in time at about £2.25 million

really? - I think you need to post a link showing £9 million cash in a bank account today - no good simply putting an out of thin air figure would it.

Just checked in my HSBC investdirect account to find that PAY is available to purchase again.

Don't know why it wasn't available for a couple of weeks, and don't know whether it had anything to do with my complaint that got it reinstated to purchase, as I have yet to receive a response from my complaint.

A bit annoying after using a different platform to make a further investment, but good to have it back on the HSBC platform.
