It has been a long time since having the pre pandemic triple digit share price - wish it had never happened despite having bought at rock bottom prices since then. Hopefully triple digits wall once more be seen in the future.

Post deleted- I would have thought that the budget including possible rises in council tax could be a factor in Lloyds/stock market price movements - very strange

At 478.5p - I didn't really want to separate a stock on different platforms but the price compelled me to do so.

I used an Etoro account that I have had for quite a number of years which I rarely visited and only previously used it to purchase some crypto which is still held in the account.

Plus returns by way of share buybacks

I would rather my millions be held with HSBC. No problems in 23 years apart from not able to buy 3i for a period of time and now Paypoint - not a big deal. If it continues then I will simply wait to sell some of the many Paypoint shareis held at various price levels starting at about 850p. I am not desperate to have more Paypoint shares. I could if I wished open forward spread bets on IG ( I am a shareholder) that I have had an account with for about 26 years

Paypoint are not important enough in my portfolio of 40 stocks to change my stock holding platform.

HSBC is my largest investment in my portfolio. I have paid many many thousands in share dealing charges over 23 years to them- better paying it to a business that I have a large stake in than one where I own nothing.

No thanks - I worked for HSBC for many years and started to take a HSBC pension at the age of 50.

I was amongst the very first to have an account on the platform, about 23 years ago, which initially was MLHSBC, a joint venture with Merrill lynch . but after a short while HSBC took control to become HSBC investdirect.

Today I would have bought back at about 530p the 'lost' shares from consolidation plus a minimum of the shares sold in June, but most likely double the amount of shares sold in June.

I have already gone through it all with someone on the phone - a complaint raised - the result is that an official response will be made within 10 working days . I expect they will say the same thing as with 3I Group when that was unavailable to buy for about 2 years, that they do not guarantee to cover the whole market.

There is no other possibility. A purchase was available after the consolidation process had been worked through. They have simply removed PAY from being purchased and it a matter of whether my complaint is enough to make them have a rethink. That is why it is helpful if others complained as well. In the case of 3I Group it didn't bother me for most of the about 2 year period as I was not going to top up anyway, but a big fall occurred at which point I would have bought ut couldn't . The annoying thing was that after a large rebound, they put it available to buy again, but too high once again to want to top up.

Doesn't work like that - there are rules relating to share repurchases, which means limits to purchases from day to day,

Of course with high volumes of shares traded over a period of time, would mean a higher amount that can be bought.
