And 53p on 7th Jan 2022 is now of course equivalent to a figure nearer to 60p, after a couple of years of share cancellations,so it would be logical to assume that at this moment in time, t I would not contemplate a sale until about the 60p + level.

over 5 weeks to xd and over a further 5 weeks to be paid.

I bought some on 25th October 2023 at under 40p, so a double digit return/increase in capital value (nearly 20%) in a little over 4 months.

Lloyds bank is NOT a penny share - there is more than one criteria to make it one, just as there are various ceteris regarding bank bonuses when some think that just having buybacks would satisfy it.

maybe you should ask in Q&A what return is expected on the £43 million investment.

Of course there is more than a short term monetary return. A return can also be seen as one where tiny businesses seeking community funds, later if/when they progress in business then transition into t mainstream borrowing involving the likes of Lloyds directly.

are you related to NC ?, who has always said in the past that Lloyds never needs to pay more than 5% of a Lloyds share price in dividend.

The amount that Lloyds pays out in dividend will depend on policy and profitability. It is as simply as that
