Once again - it is not 'we' - increased valuations are only beneficial to shareholders - many are no longer, having bailed out in the 40's,50' and 60's. You on the other hand cannot bail out of shares that you have never had.

BT continuing it's upward move - now up over 50% from a year ago.

HLN reached an all time high - about a valuation that was offered in a bid for the business that was rejected when part of GSK, not long before the spin off.

LLOY reached another 7 year share price high - market cap now at about £44.3 Billion - this compares with £58 Billion reached in 2015

HSBC continuing it's recent upward surge to another all time market cap high - still not expensive

VOD reached 70p yet again - beneficial to stay in a low valuation range whilst conducting buybacks that should still have over a year to run.

The valuation of HSBC is not high. Using DCF the price per share could go up to £13 + , but doesn't mean that the market, with unknown future events will take it there.

It is never wrong to take profit.
