Again, I can't imagine a government that was so in support of new exploration, etc would do this and pull a full 180 without any previous statements. Why are there no questions like, "what happened? Why make this change?" And Sheffield must be going crazy- I can't imagine he is not working the full powers of his lobbying machine in Australia.

You are saying there is no ambiguity in the current legislation regarding scope 3 and that if this legislation becomes law, and nothing else is done- then the beetaloo is most likely done? That there is no way to currently get to net zero on the scope 3 without additional measures being taken?

I just can't understand how a govt that has been so supportive of drilling and the gas industry can, overnight, knowingly enact legislation that could shut down that entire industry.

It seems like the key may be to bypass the level 3 issues and export this gas until the Aussie govt says hey we need this gas, let's address the issue here.

Unfortunately this is one of the risks of taking so long here. Not this exactly, but that the political climate would change and cause us problems. Hopefully this won't be a huge problem as Tambiran says they have been planning on this all along. "Make hay while the sun shines"!

Is t your opinion that f Fog were to put up similar numbers from the amungee that most- and the market- would see that as a disappointment? Esp since some have been talking the 5-7m /1000 ft numbers and not the 3. And if it does come in in the 2's, is there any recovery from that as far as a next step? I'm hoping we're not setting ourselves up for disappointment if we don't end up in the 5-7 numbers.

I have to agree that $.75US would be a bit of a disappointment after all this time. I say this less from an analysis of cash flows and discount rates and more from a wish that this was/is a home run swing with a huge amount of risk with the expected payoff. In rough numbers, an entry point of $.15 US and an exit of $.75US over 8 years (my case) is about a 23 pct annual return. If it happens in another two years it's about a 17 pct annual return. Good but not great. Certainly, in retrospect, not worth the risk! For the many that have been holding 15+ years, the return becomes even more mediocre- depending on their entry point! Now since wet says I'm always whining, I'll say that I'd be thrilled to walk away here w a 20+ pct return here and am hoping for great flow rates and perhaps some market enthusiasm and a stock run up! I'd also ultimately like to see a buy out with a stock exchange w a stable company where we could hold the stock long term. All being said at pre 6 AM on a Monday where it finally seems like things may be happening with this stock! GLTA longs

The hope was that we would see great flow rates, etc. same as is the case now. If we were to get the same results on this well as we did on the Kyalla would you consider that "valuable"? Can you agree that the stock market did not assign any value whatsoever to the Kyalla well??

I'm not going to get into the fact I said "drillwise", or that the Kyalla was a failure. Or that I said don't tell me about this well. Bottom line is the stock price is much lower than it was before the moratorium and POQ has made $5-$6M during that time. I'm still not convinced the deal w Tamboran is a good one but acknowledge it was probably the only one available. While I don't want to come off as being negative, I AM skeptical. We have been here before, waiting for results from the well that was going to turn everything around (Kyalla). I know timelines are fluid but maybe we should try underpromising and overdelivering. If you don't like my "whining" go ahead and block me, I won't be offended. And I certainly am hoping for the best for all stockholders. GLTA

Halfway through the 1Q in 2023 and we haven't done anything successful drillwise in years. (Don't say the vertical on this well) it's been a long time w the co using our money w little to show for it. POQ is the only one who has got fat on this co to date. Hopefully there are no major setbacks and we can proceed. Not sure there are any other choices other than to sell and most of us won't do that.

No, I may buy more if it drops sub $.10 but like most, waiting for that bump when we get the hopefully great news on this well. I was thinking more a run over $1 and a drop to $.40-.50

Wet, I hope so. I've never traded this stock to any degree but would probably take some off the table at $.50/share. $1 has always been sort of a magic number but if it runs a little first on FOMO, that would be even better. Ultimately it would be nice to have a high enough price that we can all get what we want out of it and still hold on to some and avoid taxes and get some dividends from whatever entity ends up w it.
