GLG increased their short position around £1.75. My guess is that it's them using their borrowed shares to keep the price down. Tuesday was interesting because the volume was 12 times what it is today and the price was held steady, but days like today with low volumes are easy pickings for them. Hopefully they'll run out soon and won't increase their position further.

In contrast last than 80k traded today and the price has dropped 2%.

Sounds like the interim CFO is a strong candidate for the full time role.

Thank you Nitro and Peltata that's really helpful. Seems the dividend issue will be addressed come March. As for the margins, the shares are more than half the price they were pre-pandemic and I agree that revenue and demand is likely to increase as more people need lower cost transportation. Even if margins are lower, it seems revenue could soon surpass pre-pandemic levels and so I assume profitability can be restored to pre-pandemic levels that way instead.

The only thing I can see is the trading statement, but that was considered very positive wasn't it?

I was the same, got back in a couple of weeks ago and should have waited. My view was that there's always a chance of a takeover here and it's probably better to be in a little early than kicking myself if this suddenly shoots to the moon.

What tipped my over the edge was the big buy from the company secretary.

The shorts are frustrating though. The price gradually builds up and they slap it down with a big dump, very smart on their part, but shows have powerful manipulation of less than 2% of the stock can be.

I'm not saying you're wrong as I have no idea, but it's crazy to think this was above that £2.55 price just 3 months ago.

Indeed, I found the company secretary buying £100k at £1.85 really interesting. That's a significant show of faith in my opinion.

That was exactly my thoughts when I saw the Times buy recommendation yesterday. It said 80% comes from overseas, mostly the US. With the strength of the dollar that should only be a good thing in my view
