Maybe they are changing it in readiness for the acquisition

What's so strange JG is that all other analysts who report on it rated as a buy, yet here we are.

It still feels to me that something is brewing. Look at the acquisition that happened earlier this week (I forget the name, but I posted it on here at the time)with a 70% premium, that stock had flatlined for ages and then the news broke out of nowhere.

KG, 0.11% of 600m is 660,000

Someone mentioned a while ago that the short sellers possibly had funds tied up elsewhere and weren't in a position to buy back here, maybe that explains the recent increases. They could be borrowing more to keep the price down during potential rises ready for when they're in a position to buy back?

I just can't see why they would increase their position by 15% when this is so low already and the news and results are largely positive.

Has anyone else noticed the increase in positive newsflow lately? It's not huge news generally, but is an interesting change.

What the hell is going on with these shorts, surely there are easier targets now? I really don't understand what they think they see here.

JG the 6m yesterday was two identical trades (albeit with a slightly different timestamp). With this news, could it have been an institution transfering their shares to the short seller perhaps?

QD Asos is still over 30% up ytd and almost double it's lows so I wouldn't compare it to 888 just yet.

It literally started to fall back as you posted JG. I was joking about spooking this stock in the past, but now all rational explanations seem to have gone I'm becoming more and more superstitious by the day.
