Yes, the Twitter rampers have been talking total gibberish as usual, but there is no basis in your firm claim that it will never be built. It might be, it might not be. The court case is ongoing and until we receive firm news either way, it could go either way.

Good to see Starfest getting its proper website up and running. Still a few rookie mistakes in there though, namely that the terrible star-sanctum.net website is still live, which creates unnecessary confusion. Hopefully they'll quietly remove that before the big promotional push starts. Flightman is right though - this is peanuts in comparison to the NY Wheel. That's one of the reasons it's such an unnecessary deal. The market has responded accordingly, with a single trade (a sell, obviously). No increase at all in volume. Meanwhile one of the usual suspect rampers is forecasting '5p soon in the blink of an eye'. Mind you, this is the chap whose previous predictions have a 100% record of being totally wrong, so take his opinions with a pinch of salt.

That Twitter account wasn't protected even a couple of days ago, as they replied to someone here who asked when they were planning on updating their website. I can only assume they're getting everything in order before the 'big reveal' shortly. Just one trade today - a three and a half grand sell. Momentum has basically slowed to a complete stop here.

I don't see what the problem is Wress. Challenger is a minority stakeholder in the NY Wheel. It isn't a contentious point or anything worthy of further debate. It isn't even a negative. It's just a fact.

I actually think that's distinctly possible Flightman. Challenger is only a minority stakeholder in NY Wheel and therefore has little control over the newsflow. I could definitely envisage a scenario where the new contractor is confirmed before Challenger is able to 'officially' RNS it. The time difference alone makes this a possibility.

Good question. I think that all of the current delays to date are now priced in, hence we've seen such a big share price drop in recent months. I think that Starsanctum is a truly duff deal, but isn't transformational for the business either way - the fact that the price didn't move much when it was announced suggests that the market agrees. My opinion is that two things could move the share price in the coming days/weeks/months. The first relates is the NY Wheel. If a restart is confirmed with a sensible timeline for the build and opening, then we should see a big increase - at least back to 1p and beyond. If it's delayed further or canned altogether then I wonder whether the business can survive. The second relates to funding. How long can Challenger keep the lights on and/or invest in Dallas without more dilution? That could drag the price down further still, assuming it comes before strong NY news. As we've said dozens of times - we need NY contractor news, swiftly. That's the game changer.

"A retail building" does not mean 'the entire Empire outlet complex'. It sounds much more like a gift shop as part of the terminal building. The stake including the car park is a plus however, as that will attract Empire customers as well, as marineville says.
