RE: Always disagreed with the discount20 Oct 2020 16:15
I think this placing is a good deal for the company, a good deal for the investors, but squeezes the lowly PIs in the short term. It's not ultimately bad for PIs, but I think it's going to take quite a bit of time for the SP to crank back up to where it was. With good use of ( and eventually return on) the investment the company becomes stronger. You can see what they're trying to do. However, certain investors have bought 700m shares at .00125 when there are 'only' 1,775 ( if I'm right) at this point. It means that they can return 50% on their investment at .0019p if they so wish?? It also does look like a quick money raise for an immediate short notice opportunity. To sell for this discount price, plus the warrants, and knowing the progress Mosman are making, I think most would have taken these terms thus making it extremely likely to get the placing filled / bought. But I didn't expect to go down this route, especially after some quotes from the board already recognising that shareholders were frustrated with so many placings. It would be nice , as others have said, if the board explain their thinking.
