Assets bought out or split on the cheap is a different matter but for 0 won't happen

It doesn't matter of were delisted...they can't and won't just take things from shareholders because they choose too...business doesn't work that way, any assets spun off will have to be paid for...if they're not good luck to them ever taking debt out again in the future

If what you suggest is so easy why bother with the demerger in the first place, just transfer anything you want to wherever you want with apparantly no repercussions or discussion

I don't think it's quite as easy as this or any company on the ftse could just transfer away assets as it pleases...if assets are removed from evr they will need to be paid for

Yes and this is why I'm against the dividend this year....its not really expected so take that money instead and make it grow then the divi can come back bigger and better in the future

This suspension will end up being the best thing that happens to a lot of retail investors. Everyone wants a bagger or the elusive "multi bagger" but itchy trigger fingers get in the way...hard to ignore 30,40,50% profit so people sell to early, or they sell to buy back and get left behind. Best thing that could happen here is a good year long suspension till everything is done and out the news...then current holders will be forced to make massive profits when it re opens

Who presumes that? I think RA is pro RA. He's asked to be a go between and saw the opportunity to paint himself in a positive light knowing his sanction was on the way

Deepdive...quick question mate as I've never been in this situation before...if delisted how are dividends paid...I assume not through your broker...do you have to contact the company with details and a designated account

Poly and evr pretty much dropped in tandem and they're about 200% off their low so I'd expect us to sit about £1.60...I don't think initially the rasp inclusion will really be valued in

Hmg will not want evr to delist as they will loose any control over RA's shareholding if we do

When it's unsuspended I hope it does stay low as I want to get the last of it out of my trading account and into my isa....don't want to be paying any tax on those massive dividends that will be coming back eventually....I think April 27th the nay sayers will see evr is in far better shape than they expected....suspension may last while but this affects the company very little as things stand

Think offhand at suspension it was trading on p/e of 0.5....they won't need special divis and handing half their free cash flow over to encourage people it's a bargain
