Agreed but the cynic in me, with their major holder, makes me feel that an unfair deal will be struck. Could well be wrong on pog though. Written off my holding there. Will try and get my share certificates from Barclays and see what happens.

I don’t think pogs mines will hit the open market and even if poly did sell them cheap, it’s no bad thing as we are hugely hindered with the Russia situation.

Stockpiled gold and the sale of the Russian interests nullifies your debt claim on a company that is trading with under 1 P/E ratio, with a 90% discount to previous 52 week highs, when no debt is due until 2023. There you go sonny.

Poly is a serious outfit. Fair play to them smashing in the numbers they are. I can see why they feel the Russian assets are limiting the company more than they are benefitting it- because they are. They must also have some provisional figures on the sale of the assets.

Shorts on poly will be non existent. They can’t buy back their positions based on the current trading restrictions.

With the lack of divi I think there should be enough in the bank to pay off the debt if they wanted to, not that the debt needs to be a concern anyway

Debt is perfectly acceptable in business and very very sensible. It’s not a negative in any way at poly levels anyway

on our current sp im happy with the burden of russia around are neck going.... Bored of the russia saga, poly is a great company. Long may she continue without russia.... get rid of debt and save a bit for a special divi for hoders and the board who are big holders.

The first one is a no, on the prevous call there was a question about the arbitrage between the two prices and the answer was there was no concern, just one of those things and wont be addressed. To your second point, yes i would personally put kazak at 300p but then there is also the intrinsic value of the shares your would get for the russian spin off and no matter what people say on here, they will not be getting rid of the russian assets.

They won’t “dump” the assets.

Investor relations have given me 110% confidence in poly and is my biggest holding by an absolute mile.

Atrades have you done any research in to the business at all? I mean even a little bit? No debt due to 2023, taken off the ftse Russell so now only limited mm’s let you buy and we are working with four brokers currently. People wonder why the sp is down here. It’s got nothing o do with the war on a business level. On a technical level the grind south has been due to unfair trading restrictions. The board will do all they can to deliver normalcy around the stock but fundamentally selling needs to stop as less are acting on the buy side. For once if you really want to earn, a rare occasion where yourself and others just need to sit on their hands and not sell. Failing that let the board do its job to bring back some balance. That will be a split and there will be some form of dividend once done, the split won’t be until 2023 but this safeguards any further issues in Russia and you would still hold the shares if you hold now. Get your big boy pants out and do some more research.
