Main reason given for the recent poorer than expected performance was the unseasonably warm temperatures recently. Good news, it’s about to get properly cold for a properly long time. SDRY is in an excellent position to capitalise on this. Quote from today’s Daily Mail: “Britain is predicted to face its coldest winter for eight years, with below normal temperatures through January and February.”

Chances of this being cheaper on Monday are slim.

Worst case from what I've read so far, here and elsewhere, is that Virgin will seek to enhance it's relationship with Flybe even if it doesn't make an offer. This will secure Flybe's operating profit and get the SP back to previous levels in the 30s and 40s. Best case of course is a bidding war. Either way, I'm struggling to see the downside here at this price.

Sold mine at 14.2p thinking I'd done well. Watched it keep climbing and got back in at 18p. This is going to rocket through the 20s.

Well said @paulhunt. If he doesn't have any faith in his own plan, why should anyone else. It's a money where your mouth is moment.

Just popped into the local store for research purposes this morning and walked out with lots of stuff I hadn't intended purchasing. For me this is a clear indication that the offering is spot on. Lots of appropriately seasonal stuff piled high at attractive prices and busy despite it being a cold wet Wednesday morning.

Similar to Greggs earlier in the year, although obviously a different sector, I believe this company is often under valued due to snobbery. As an investor though, it pays to be aware of not only the customers with deep pockets, but those with shallow ones, and the degree of loyalty they apply to the businesses they frequent. As said previously, if this isn't traded above 400p in January, I'll give up on retail completely.

I've topped up again. SP is ridiculous at moment. I see this as the safest retail there is. For a sizeable chunk of the customers here, for a variety of reasons, even Amazon can't compete. If this isn't over 400p in January I'll be shocked.

Or this could reflect the right people doing the right things to ensure sustainable cash flow to allow for a longer more ordered sale.

Considering everything else that's going on at the moment, that's a decent vote of confidence from Credit Suisse.

Why is everyone so sure there'll be a buyer? Surely anyone interested in the routes could secure them more cheaply by waiting for Flybe to go into administration and other airlines will surely want to stick to a fleet with which they're familiar? I can see this is now historically a very cheap SP, with huge potential upside, but need a bit of convincing before risking a position.

Also appears that EU have conceded to UK airlines being allowed to land aircraft in EU even in the event of a no deal Brexit. Hopefully see some improved sentiment towards the sector on the back of all this.

announcements today on proposed increased runway capacity in UK and EU confirming no requirement for visas for UK citizens visiting have both been a useful nudge in the right direction for this under valued share

The market hates the sector at the moment, and Brexit is exaggerating reactions to any uncertainty. It's irrational. I've been hoping for an opportunity to buy this one cheap for months.

This will be back at 400p+ in no time at all. Markets are having a stupid reaction to essentially good news today. I've bought this morning.
