Web site was updated on 20/11/21 with new download. I registered and downloaded the Delta variant (11/11 tests correct, duplicated, good stuff) brochure. Just now got an email from Abakta suggesting I download the same doc. Marketing ‘in action’, must be warming up for something?

Just regarding the Delta variant, I did download the latest validation sheet from the Avacta website when I noticed it had been updated a couple of days ago. You need to register an email address for updates, but the gist of the document is …

“Report on the validation of AffiDX® SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Lateral Flow Test for detection of SARS-CoV-2 Delta Variant of Concern (June-August 2021)”

“Materials and methods
Samples (N=11) were taken from both symptomatic and asymptomatic individuals at various hospital and non-hospital settings. The samples were first analyzed by RT-PCR using the methods described in the table below to verify positivity and characterise the samples as being consistent with the Delta Variant of Concern.
These samples (N=11) that had been confirmed as carrying mutations consistent with the Delta Variant were then run on the Avacta® AffiDX® SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Lateral Flow Test, in duplicate, as per the manufacturer’s Instructions for Use. Positive results were recorded when positive visual signal appeared at both the Test and Control lines of the lateral flow device. The results are summarized in the next section.”

Detail of individuals tested listed, but in summary 11 out of 11 PCR positive tests confirmed (in duplicate) with AffiDX.

Ok, only 11 patients and no Ct stated, but 'signed and sealed' by the Institute …

@gmcc, the potential here is huge. Attacking cancer with pre|CISION guided 'nukes' or 'chemical weapons'.
I am still slightly confused (just me, no doubt) about canSEEK though, as this 'name' pre-dates the pre|CISION licence agreement. The link back to Tufts/ William Bachovchin for both are not in doubt, but the information provided by POINT on canSEEK is very limited.
But if canSEEK was not originally pre|CISION it probably is now and seems likely to move rapidly out of pre-clinical into humans with (hopefully) the continuing success of our trials.
Just to reiterate, the potential is huge.
