So what are the thoughts on how all this potential will actually translate into delivery of shareholder value ? I'm asking because all the combined potential at Manica (GF BE and FB) and Zambia (Eureka and Kalengwa) has not so far delivered any shareholder value for shareholders as measured by SP rise over and above what value existed when Nelson left.

Yesterdays RNS was a bit like a fish n chip shop announcing it has plans to sell fish n chips. Of course there will be some drilling at Bushranger. Rings alarm bells when that is the only news tbh.

Stocky1... strange then that the whole of XTR is valued at less than what we paid for Manica a few years ago. Perhaps you could share your thoughts on that anomaly ?

News that drilling has started has to be welcomed. Now we need news from Zambia or Manica. Drill holes spend the money they dont make it.

CE... your uncertainty regarding my waiting for good news or bad is quite bewildering tbh. As a fairly large share holder I can assure you I would prefer it to be good but also being a long time holder here I have learned to believe it when I see it.

The sinking SP says that wont happen. Despite Bird's early proclamations when JN left about how shareholders had reason to be disgruntled we have quite frankly been continually dicked over big time since then.

CE... thanks for that reply. I do believe that if the projects start to deliver then an investment here will be well rewarded from these levels but I just have an ever growing doubt that we will see any meaningful delivery to demonstrate that the placements were done with the objective of lifting the MktCap and hence the SP. After all that is the only way we will see our investment objective come to fruition.

CE... its not 6-9months that seems like an eternity to many on here as you full well know. The term retail investor is straight out of the Bird book of people he sees as an impatient irritant btw. You would know that from your phone conversations I'm sure. Is he annoyed again that retail investors are pulling him up on his lack delivery.... again ?

And while I'm in whinge mode... the paltry alluvial revenue seems to exist to keep the listing alive. It certainly has been no where near what we were led to believe.

I am still in but will be looking for an exit now as I just dont have any confidence that XTR is being run in the interests of shareholders. It just seems to be deals clouded in economies of truths that are not delivering shareholder value but seem to be delivering benefit to those around the deals. I think I have said this before but it almost seems to me that XTR exists as a vehicle to benefit third parties and not shareholders when all the pacement cash is considered in relation to no uplift in SP. I mean we paid what was it £12m for Manica how long ago ? Omnia had a plant that was underused according to Bird and that we were going to utilise that to process the low hanging fruit ? When was that ? It didnt happen. Instead we did a deal with yet another third party. All these deals and no uplift in SP.

It would be good if Bird could demonstrate to shareholders that he has earned his chairman's fees. The last few years have been plenty long enough for us to be shown that all those deals have been done with the sole aim to deliver shareholder value. Plenty have benefitted leaving shareholders at the bottom of the pile so far. Further lack of delivery will surely demonstrate once and for all that shareholder value is not in his script.

Where are we at then ? News from these ?
Manica... News that confirms the gold plays are delivering shareholder value. (Q3 alluvial figures. News that low hanging fruit farming from BE and GF has started as per previous guidance. News that all is well with FB and the MMP contract and as per previous guidance regarding the plant shipping and any outstanding groundworks).
Zambia... News that the copper plays are delivering shareholder value as per previous guidance.
Ozzy copper and gold plays... Early days but positive news flow needed to add to shareholder value.
The recent SP movements would suggest all of the above will not happen which leads me to conclude that Bird's deals are not delivering shareholder value. On the other hand I find it hard to believe that we are suffereing incompetence of that magnitude which leads me to hope that it is the MM's marking this down to the benefit of those ITK. I will add Bird to my xmas card list if we see signs of shareholder value by xmas !

So were we paying Tayanna that 2.7m contract fee ? I thought we were dealing with Sino ? Omnia pulled out of our alluvial collaboration so where do Tayanna fit in ??

I floated this concern a few weeks back... ie Is there a payment problem somewhere that is stopping the plant being shipped ? MMP did seem to agree easily to the low hanging fruit being allowed to be farmed by another operator which made me question it. Im a little concerned that they may not be able to fulfill the contract the FB ?

We could do with some good figures or news. We seem to be stuck in the xtr cycle of share overhang again causing the SP to drift a fair bit lower. I'm really not sure anymore if we will ever see a rerate as the equity placements and dilution seem to out pace any awaited news. Lets see what Q3 brings...
