FWIW my take is that CB probably knows the market will not be impressed with Phase 1 results hence the RNS yesterday about an independent company to lay down some options for a cheaper open pit in an attempt to possibly retrieve something. Almost a "ok we didnt get that but hey not all is lost we could this ?" The uncertainty I have stems from bad memories of situations like the Moz gold shenanigans. LTHs will remember the theorys discussed about that delay before we finally found out some funds were wasted back then. The truth is we just dont know but what is certain is that the current uncertainty is delivering doubt. However I hope all is well and am choosing to hang on in here.

I just have a feeling that Colin is leaning this way ? The dilution issue that this would entail fills me with dread quite honestly. I just feel that something has changed making selling the resource of 2mT Cueq not attractive anymore ? Unless planning for a cost effective open pit to start mining the resource is the means to make it more attractive to potential buyers other than AA ?

I thought Winu was just about 2mT contained copper ? Isnt that comparison the bare minimum we need to achieve what we need ?

iceberg... I was wondering if in fact all the latest share placing had actually been taken up. Maybe these large trades are actually tranches of that placing allocation that hadn't been taken up earlier. There have been a fair few large trades that have not shifted the SP since the placing announcement so I was starting to think that maybe they were not all placed as quickly as planned.

Do we know if all the proposed placing shares were taken up ?

I suppose the only figure that matters is what Colin gets for us. even at 1% that would be 13p plus say 5p for the African stuff. 3x higher than where we are now. Anything above 2mT with the price of copper only going one way can only increase that 18p target ? Unless Colin has got this badly wrong surely that 18p must be regarded as a minimum ?

Doog58... yes he said he hoped the racecourse alone would have the required 2mT but I was asking if the AA agreement was for just the racecourse (in which case we have all the rest to benefit from) or if the agreement was for all of bushranger once the "mT was triggered and AA take up their option to buy back.

howezap... I still feel there is confusion over if the AA option is for just racecourse or all of bushranger ? It is good that Colin thinks we can get the AA trigger amount of 2mT just from racecourse though. If the rest is not in the agreement then that should be spelled out as it surely would eventually reflect in the SP ?
