howezap... I suppose the acceptable timescale is different for each investor. As I said before it has to be a balance between that timescale and maximising potential. having been in this from the Chepica days I suppose for me it would be nice if some sort of value here would be enjoyed before those EV's which will drive this copper era revolution become mandatory. Explore every potential target... yes of course... but as and when it is affordable otherwise we will be in an endless battle against dilution. Sensible fund raising that goes hand in hand with steady rising SP is more than acceptable. Throw in the African income and I'm sure all will be good... but I have bad memories that still need to be erased regarding fund raises that were wasted on for example O'Kief and the Moz Gold agreement. I can wait as I have learned that is how it has to be with XTR... but I have fingers crossed that wait is not in vain.

howezap... I dont disagree with that but having said that it has to be all in the cause of shareholder value at the end of the day ? Proving up beyond Phase 2 will need more cash and time. I have posted some time ago about not giving away copper to AA or whoever else may come in and eventually buy what we have, but I wouldn't want the new younger geologists to start seeing porphyries everywhere. Maybe some sort of licensing deal for any extra found would be the way to go ?

The current JORC is 0.3mT. We have to believe that is correct or we may as well all just call it day. If that is correct then 1mT seems a very low estimate for what info we now have imho. The volune that derives that current 0.3mT JORC has to increase approx 6x to get to 2mT (70mT ore to approx 400mT). each dimension (length x width x depth) only has to double to get that x6 volume. The IP survey shows we have that combined with phase 1 drilling. Even at low end 0.2% average I believe we have easily more than 1mT and easily can fulfill 2mT. we have to believe the current 0.3mT JORC.

Colin will know that whilst it is only AA in the frame with their agreement (as is the case currently until they officially decline to buyback) then any alternatives that could possibly get us a higher price can not be put into play. So yes, an early decision to mine (even if that on paper seems maybe not the correct way forward) would perhaps corner AA into a decision one way or another. If their decision is no then Colin can bring into play other options which may lead to better shareholder value or if its a yes then we get an early prize. Win win really.

Ella... yes we cannot be absolutely certain but my calcs a couple of posts back are just confirming to myself that we have what Colin has been saying. Any further extensions will I believe take us beyond 2mT.

From the IP survey diagrams we can conservatively estimate a mineralisation area of 1000m x 1000m so far without further drilling. From those diagrams we can estimate a depth of around 400m.
From the assays to date we can conservatively use an average of 0.2% CuEq for this volume.
So we have 1000x1000x400 m3 which gives around 1 billion tons of pay stuff (2.7 tons/m3).
At 0.2% CuEq this gives us already without further drilling just over 2mT CuEq.
Its on.

Captainbob... your snide digs at posters who question things are quite frankly irritating to say the least. You had a pop at Ella for "having an agenda" a short while ago. Asking if spare cash is available is quite clearly the old chesnut of assuming people are asking questions "to get the SP down" to buy more. I dont need to buy anymore as I'm comfortable with my holding which is probs not the smallest on here. I will leave it at that.

Regarding the gamble of shareholder's money, I would hope that after the Moz Gold fiasco which was a shocking waste of what little money we had at the time, we would not be exposed to placing money being gambled away now surely ?

I am led to believe that iceberg has been in communication with CB and we know CB gave credit to iceberg according to one of CE's posts. Was that a little too much information that was shared regarding the IP findings ? or maybe that was aroute to share the findings as for whatever reason CB is unable to share via his usual media presentation outlet ?

Baffling why the market would put a 5p value on the scenario being mooted. We will find out one way or anotherr soon enough. My money is on the market having got this very wrong.

Does anybody know if the plant is still waiting to be shipped from SA ? Unlikely to meet that Q2 target if it is still in SA ?

CE.. it would provide for good optics if XTR and Empress were in step with regards to the timeline of progress at Fairbride. If I recall Empress are expecting revenue slightly later than what guidance we have received from CB ? Perhaps next time you have an opportunity to discuss with Colin you could maybe ask him to clarify ?
