What a naïve chap you are KOH.You obviously have no experience whatever in business negotiations and in particular this extraordinarily large and complex situation SXX have here.BOD ONLY objective was to secure funding to get the mine built,They have done that...almost.What is best for the Company is by definition best for the shareholders as a group,but not necessarily for each individual shareholder who may have bought shares,in an open market ,for what he thinks is now too much!

While we are all disappointed with the dilution I can’t understand why so many people feel that CF has in some way cheated them.Financing was always going to be difficult and has always been in the equation when deciding whether to buy the shares.In the end most of us were too optimistic but at least the mine will get built.If CF had not got ‘a deal’ there would be no mine and possibly a zero share price.The mine will be a successful business in due course,a very big successful business and the shares will in due course reflect that.Just the sort of share that Warren Buffet would be keen to buy,in due course.And just remember who has devoted his life these past 10 years or so to get this project off the ground,or rather into the ground.without him there would be nothing.

No doubt that earth has warmed over the last century,the issue is why.There have been peaks and troughs of global warming,ice ages etc throught the existance of this planet,without any help from humans.There is a tentative correlation with warming and CO2 bit it seems the latter is lagging the former,suggesting that warming may be causing higher CO2.Why are you so certain ? The climate is dominated by the sun,CO2 is a minute component of the atmosphere and greenhouse gases.There are so many unknowns and much much more research is necessary.What is wrong with that ?

You may well be right,or not.The thing is that the theory that CO2 emissions are causing global warming is not proven....yet The perceived solution is preventing 3rd world countries,eg Africa,from modernising their economies by making electricity far too expensive.It is a huge hammer to crack maybe a problem that cannot be cracked by humans

If,as someone has suggested, SIPP has sold SXX to invest more into HUR then this is not a prudent exercise of damage limitation,it is an increase in risk.Both are 'jam tomorrow' situations in different ways.SXX has the polyhalite but needs cash to extract it,HUR has the cash but the technology to bring oil to surface is still unproven.Why make that choice ? 26% of my invested wealth is in 3 shares,SXX,HUR and SDX,the rest in a wide spread of funds.I expect all 3 to succeed but if not at least 1 and each would be hugely rewarding .

Banks are in the business of making viable loans to companies with a bright future,not in vulture activities .They have a reputation to look after and SXX will need other banking facilities for many many years.The thought of all the banks in consortium striving to bankrupt the business is inconceivable

That makes you a trader then.A LTH sits until the end game and shouldn't worry about intervening price movements.Until there is real news from the BOD re Stage 2 the SP means nothing,it is pure speculation so ignore it

Although I have never properly studied this subject,I think this can only work,if it ever does,where share price movements are the result of informed opinion and the resulting trends indicate changes in such opinion.

With SXX there are huge unknowns with Stage 2 financing,dilution,construction problems ,to name but a few,and share prices move on hope,speculation,underlying trust in the BOD and the whole project.These risks will be played out in due course and any one of these will have a huge effect on the share price,one way or another and render all the TA as a waste of time .

Gadzuric,Are you a simpleton ? to borrow £3 billion to build a mine is not a simple task.Sxx has to borrow,lenders don't have to lend on this particular project.It is not solely up to our CEO how the negotiations go.To bring in an alternative is a huge credit to CF and his team and if successful in whichever we end up with they will deserve their rewards.Its just a pity CF wasn't in charge of Brexit
