First Carnegie is not a climate scientist.He is not qualified to judge how the climate may or may not change in the near future.He is taking on trust some of the more extreme forecasts which have little scientists basis.There are too many eminent climatologists who dispute these extreme claims.Once again he is promoting ‘Project Fear’.We need more science before extreme action is taken to reduce our reliance on carbon fuels in the longer term.In the shorter term carbon fuels remain a very big part of our fuel demands.If however the oil industry decides for whatever reason to invest less in further exploration and development,then current productive assets will be worth more not less if competition is reduced for their product.Hence HUR should be valued higher in my humble opinion.

Why do you think that.What has happened to change your opinion ?

Don’t panic.HUR are generating lots of dollars which belong to us ! We will get it eventually but short term speculators can do what they like in the meantime

I think P and A is oily terminology,but to abandon temporarily is not ruled out surely.

Without any method of collecting oil,even if they may have wanted to,the well had to be 'plugged and abandoned'.No choice.

As a non oilman I am confused as to the price reaction.The oil type is excellent.little water and 1300bopd is not to be sniffed at.There was no alternative to a PA as the well is on the high seas and until Dr.T pronounces the results of technical analysis we don't know whether this oil can be commercially viable,either as stand alone or as a connection to another field.
Without GWA the Lancaster field continues to produce very well and the value of this alone should justify a sp well above 36p.

Past history of any other company is totally irrelevant.Scrutinise what NFX is all about and if you feel it is worth investing do so.And don't fret about the large sales.If they knew something we don't maybe.But they don't.they are selling for their own reasons nothing to do with the prospects of NFX.
