Sakura - I am sorry to say that you are a source of some of the negativity here. You are clearly an intelligent successful woman and I respect your opinions but, Gold mining is long term and hit and miss. Overtime, because exploration and building mines takes time, there will be periods when the share price moves little or moves downwards and this can last for months. Secondly, Dupax was a miss, probably not due to lack of resources, but because of local opposition. These things happen in gold mining and are part of the risk. If you don't like the long timeframes associated with mining there are other sectors to put your money into which offer faster returns/losses. Finally you should be happy that MTL bought CNR, this means that most ex CNR's get their money back, plus some. I wish you luck but less unwarranted negativity please.

To be honest I really don't get all of this negativity. A year ago we were 6p we have risen to ~15p, what is negative about that? We have a new mine coming on stream this year which will probably take our price to 25 - 30p, what is negative about that? On top of this we are looking for a new shovel ready project which will increase our price further. I don't know what investment returns you are expecting, but MTL for me has been spectacular. Like I said, I just don't get it.

Interesting, Trump and the USA need to rely on the "kindness of strangers" to buy their debt and keep borrowing costs low. At some point Trump may need to remember who his friends are and back off with the aggressive tariffs he has imposed. China flexing it's muscles right now is very interesting.

Chilliboots - Actually very little drilling has been done and there could be a good resource there to be proved up. However, Darren has decided that for now, it's not worth committing further resources to it, because of the actions of the community. So Darren has moved onto plan B,C and D because he see's better opportunities elsewhere.

ConMan94 - You are correct, the kind of dilution we may get, would be the right kind of dilution and accretive to share price. Also, remember we bought those treasury shares for around 4p, they have already almost quadrupled in value.

I think he made the right decision on Dupax, if the community does not support our investments, then we will take our investments to a community that does.

Remember BTC is not a physical thing that has utility, it exists as a bunch of electrons on a network of computers. Almost nobody accepts BTC as a currency of trade. If I had some, where could I spend them? Something that can fluctuate +/- as much as 10% or more in a day is not an investment, it's simply a gamble. For those that own it, I wish you luck. Crypto money had nothing to do with the recent crash. The crash was driven by a lack of liquidity in an overcrowded market, which was not helped by the Comex hiking margin requirements for paper trades. It was a bad thing for Gold when money flowed out and into crypto, it will be a good thing, pricewise, if that money returns.

It's good to see "Rat Poison Squared" (Bitcoin) is struggling again. We need that money flow back into Gold which is the real safe haven asset.

It's now February, posting a video with progress up to October really is not that helpful. We really do need to improve our comms!

Would be good to see Gold consolidate in the range 4970 to 5130. From there it can go up again.

Also Kat-079 - I was looking at the futures price which closed at $4763, I see the spot price closed at $4889. So Gold is in deep backwardation. It will be interesting to see how this difference reconciles next week.

A much needed correction to the price of Gold after an eye watering overbought top. Gold price is just above where it closed 2 weeks ago at around $4630. We probably wont see $5000 again for a while, but so long as we stay above $4000 we will be laughing all the way to the bank. Once the market settles down MTL will resume it's penny a month gain putting us over 20p at some point around Q3.
