It's as UTrader suggested below' you can't break what's already broken.
Everything stated by Johnski is true, but is so fundamentally corrupted that to attempt to address them would always cause a shock. Meanwhile, those who have benefited from such rotten to the core institutions would prefer that the new US government did nothing, rather, just like in every other of our allied, western nations, including the UK, ie. everywhere, all the time (unless it's in defence of the central banking system.., or Isreal).
Trump's an unconventional leader, to say the least (as hes not a careerist politician like we've become used to but a businessman) and comes across as more of a bull in a china shop. The UK, meanwhile, is in a death spiral, principally due to the ineptitude and inactivity of the same self-serving, careerist politician class sharing a the same vested common interest in doing nothing and avoiding accountability. if the terminal malaise in the UK is ever going to be confronted, whoever's charged with attempting such a feat of salvation is going to have to act with similar determination & fortitude as Trump, et al, now.
You can't make an omelette without breaking eggs, and I'm not sure Sir Starmer, nor Ms. Badenoch, are cut out to fix the mess.
