That said, it is futile to argue the toss with a disinterested broker. I've been posting their replies on this open forum for the benefit of other private investors who might be interested in the performance of II, in this regard, and attitude of their customer services.

The question still remains; which alternative trading platform would be recommendable, in the view of investors in the Capai..?

I see, yet mere opinion essentially presented as fact..

The cessation of purchases of CPAI on the II platform corresponded with the move to SETS trading and US listing. Ie. before the precipitous decline in the share price, but with the result of being effectively locked in to a falling stock by removing the ability to trade in one's own holding.

As such, the timing of the decision to disable purchases (only) by II, and an explanation for their reviewing of CPAI ought be proffered to its effected, paying customers.

Which platform are you trading on?

Who else would you recommend, to provide the support & security when needed..?

II charges a monthly fee, for the benefit...

Interactive Investor's complaints dept. - Final Response:

'.. To confirm, we cannot disclose our full reasoning for not permitting purchases. Investors are free to do their own research and invest in which ever stocks they choose if its not available on their preferred platform. We cannot provide any further comment on this.'

Previous correspondence: 'You have raised concerns that we are not permitting purchases in CPAI. You have noted that you were previously able to buy this stock and are not satisfied with the explanation provided. Following our most recent review it has been decided that Interactive Investor will not be able to offer it for purchases on our platform. You are free to choose a platform that offers the investments you wish to trade. Please note this is our final decision letter and my overall decision is to not uphold your complaint.'

So, to summarize: They refuse to explain why the CPAI security was reviewed, and recommend existing II clients move their accounts and holdings to one of their competitors. An utterly extraordinary attitude.

Yes, while shares in an existing holding can still be sold, "following a review of the security, Interactive Investor no longer supports further purchases within this line of stock..", while steadfastly refusing to offer an explanation why, or what might have been the cause for their review.

Stating the following: "..we are not obligated to provide reasoning or justifications as to why we have come to this decision, as outlined in section 2.2 of our Terms of Service".

And to make matters worse in the face of the current plunging SP, still can't even average down on International Investor.

Have been corresponding with II who've been less than forthcoming, clearly unwilling to reveal their motive - As per most recent response:

"I appreciate this is not the response you were hoping for, and I have discussed this further with our back-office team and logged this as feedback for you, however, following an internal review, we have made the decision to discontinue support for further purchases of this product line. Please note that we are not in a position to provide specific details or further reasoning regarding this decision.

Now that this feedback has been logged, I cannot guarantee we can implement any changes and we would also be unable to update you on this feedback, but we do appreciate you raising this with us."

So, in other words, thanks for the feedback but we won't be offering an explanation nor respond to any further queries on the matter.

Yes, Hogbog. It took ages to get through to Interactive Investors and actually talk to someone about the inability to trade CPAI - none of whom seemed to know anything about anything, hence the standard printed response.

Would you like to share any progress made via your complaint to the CEO..?

Have been in touch with Interactive Investors, who explained that trading in this stock had been reviewed. Does that mean for ever?

We have reviewed this stock & unfortunately Interactive Investor are currently unable to offer CapAI (CPAI) for purchases on our platform. We do not provide access to every security for a variety of reasons, customers are free to choose a platform which offers them the investments they wish to trade. Following the most recent review it has been decided that Interactive Investor will not be able to offer CapAI (CPAI) for purchases on our platform.

I have queried further details regarding SETS trading and will reach out again once I have received a response from the relevant team.

Following the previous huge surge on all the hype, the only people to have profited from this share so far have bee traders. Now, we can't even trade it. What a dog..!

Yes, that's the one big advantage of the SP falling to a third of what it was in only June, due to the massive dilution by the flooding of so many warrants..; that some investors have recently been able to start averaging down...

The only moderation, and most of the toxicity, is directed to anyone who dare to proffer an air of caution..

That's not the point. The ridiculous claims and behaviour of the perennial rampers on this board just added to the over-hyped rise towards a penny, driven by sentiment alone. Now, we're languishing around 0.30 with many recent investors, enticed by the fervent enthusiasm, heavily under water and the same sentiment having waned.

The fundamentals haven't changed, it's a£12m market cap with no revenue, and has become a traders paradise.

Feet on the ground, genuine investors. Ignore or filter the unbridled cultists and the closet traders who infest this board, and hold for the long term for rich rewards..
